Good pump spray
The pump spray has overall very good quality. Well and solid made. The only issue I had and would recommend to the company is to make sure the pressure release valve works. I had a problem with it because the rubber seal was squeezed and the pressure I was try to build up came out. Had to seal it with silicone because I need it and could not wait for replacement.

Sturdy sprayer for acid-staining concrete
We bought this sprayer for acid-staining over 6,000 square feet of concrete and it worked very well. My husband had already gone through two less expensive sprayers intended for insect spray but recommended for the acid stain as well, and when he started having problems with the second one he decided to buy this Chapin Industrial sprayer. Note that he did experience a brief frustration getting this one started the first time, but he said it was easy to resolve by taking the handle apart and putting it back on. Overall he was happy with how sturdy this sprayer is and would make the purchase again, and it is worth noting that a professional concrete stain contractor told us that he always uses this same sprayer.

the tank was easy to re-fill and spray for the remainder of the ...
After a frustrating start of not getting the sprayer to work properly, the balance of the task went well. The sprayer did not seal well at the beginning and failed to pressurize enough to get an even spray. Several attempts later, you could feel the tank pressurizing and then the job became a breeze. Once the initial pressurization was achieved, the tank was easy to re-fill and spray for the remainder of the job. The spray was even and flowing and the result was spectacular! We stained/sealed approximately 1500 square feet of concrete in a reasonable amount of time with minimal effort. Clean up was easy. I would recommend this sprayer with the caution to make sure the cap is properly sealed and you feel the pressure building in the tank before dispensing product.

Complete Garbage
I purchased two of these for a 5000+ ft2 acid etch job. Based on past experiences with deck sprayers I wanted a backup. Good thing I had one as the first one failed pretty quickly... Unfortunately the second one also failed mid job. Complete garbage. The pump itself is ultimately what gets ya. Nursed them along by taking the tips apart constantly, disassembling the pump frequently to clean and lubricate as it would stop sealing and not hold pressure, in the end the pressure issue in the pump got to the point where fluid would push past the seal and spill out over the top of the sprayers when pumped up and left unattended which makes a terrible mess. Ultimately neither of them will pump up and hold pressure after not even completing a single job.

Great sprayer for acid stain.
I've used several cheaper pump sprayers to acid stain our concrete; I'm usually lucky to get a full day's work out of one of them. This is an excellent sprayer for working with the acid stain. It sprays in a consistent pattern, holds the pressure for a good amount of time, and works over and over again. I'd definitely recommend it and would buy another when I need it.

Better Quality then I expected
Better Quality then I expected. It lasted and worked through a long job of staining a concrete floor. Easy to use. Glad I bought this one and not a cheapy from a big box store. Worth money.

Pump seal failure after a few uses
Pressure leaked at the top pump stem area during my third use. Worked fine for the first two gallons. I cleaned the unit and the next time the seals had a slight leak; and the following time it became quite useless. The functional design is great. Customer service was responsive and will send me a new pump seal. Design is good with a wide opening and easy screw on pump assembly.

Bought this for my ready mix truck. We use a "non corrosive" spray to remove cement stains and build up... I use quotes cause it's corrosive after months of use you can see it rust metal and corrode. So I bought this acid resistant sprayer..... One month and it no longer pumps air into the container.... You can hear it leak out a seal.... Waste of money. Edit. Thought I might have a dud and tried it again..... Absolute FN garbage... The plundger is broken. I use it 5 minutes a day.... Over two weeks. Such garbage.
