I've used this product on a couple of dresser drawer projects thus far, and the results have been outstanding! The wood had first been treated with several coats of tung oil. After it had fully cured, I buffed them down with 0000 steel wool in prep for applying the wax. This wax goes on smoothly with a pleasant scent, it brings out the beauty of the grain, and wipes off to a soft, lustrous glow. I couldn't be happier. It's a smallish canister, but it seems to go a long way.

This beeswax can be very useful for preserving wooden items. I have used it on quite a few wooden items and had similar experiences with some of the reviewers. It took some effort to apply this relatively thick paste to small areas, and you had to press hard to make sure the layer is even. Like other reviewers have stated, the item looked nice right after the application, and then after a couple of weeks, the sheen and color were not so visible anymore. I would recommend making the paste a little thinner by blending maybe some mineral oil. I would give this item a solid 8/10.

Works great on wood with a pleasant smell. It's very damp where I live and we were using a window fan all summer because our AC went out. Bought and used it months ago and it's still going strong. Still have plenty left over as it only takes a little bit. That's after doing 3 chest of drawers and two sewing cabinets (two of which all the drawers were severly stuck closed). Highly recommend this product.

This is my go-to finish for cutting boards and spoons. It might be my imagination but I think it has a faint aroma of honey?

This product does as advertised. It is a good sealant and the canister is quiet large! I only used about 1/4 to 1/3 of it to do the top of my dining table, which I’ll be using also as a kitchen island/cutting board. 1 canister would surely cover entire butcher block countertops with 2 layers. If you enjoy that beautiful raw white pine look- absolutely no orange or yellow- then this is not the product for you. This makes the wood very orange. It’s purely for function over style for me. The wax is not at all goopy. It is a hard wax and applies well. I used a washcloth. I rubbed it in a circular motion a few times in the wax and then applied to table, reapplying every few inches. So, it’s a arm workout! No long sweeping motions, little inches at a time, reapplying each time. 2 layers didn’t change the richness of the color versus 1 layer. Just as 3 layers is no different in looks from 1. I do suggest 2 layers to properly penetrate the wood. Go over at the very end with a dry rag as if cleaning the counter and just wipe off the excess till it’s a more matte finish.

I bought this to re-finish an old piece of furniture. It worked very well. It is important for people to remember that this product does not cover imperfections, but it does enhance natural wood beautifully. I am very happy with the product.
