What are the ingredients?

Does this clean the whites of eyes effectively or is it only temporary?

It is goof for relief of irritation or for tired eyes. Of course only temporary but you can reapply as you need it. It is soothing too

It says discard 3 months after opening on the bottle. In the instruction pamphlet inside the box, its 28 days. Which to follow?

I use Optrex after removing contact lenses to freshen my eyes. Its a small bottel so it doesn't last me three months, but definitely more than 28 days.
