**Q: just got my new clock.  doesnt work.  what am i doing wrong**
A: Is the clock in a well lit area? It has a Day/Night sensor, so it will not work in a Dark area

**Q: How do you set the clock so that the chirp corresponds to the correct bird?**
A: If you can't read the back of the clock, here is what it says.  It does work.

Remove the batteries. Set the clock to 12:50.  Place batteries back in.  Set the clock to the correct time, stopping at the top of each hour and allow each bird to chirp / sing.  Be sure to turn the hands clockwise.  The sound will then match the bird picture for each hour.

My motto:  If all else fails, read the instructions!

**Q: Are the birds north American birds?**
A: Yes, it includes the following: Summer Tanager, Song Sparrow, Purple Martin, American Goldfinch, Wood Thrush, Common Yellowthroat, Eastern Meadowlark, Carolina Wren, Eastern Bluebird, Red-Wing Blackbird, Yellow Warbler and Hermit Thrush.

**Q: is it quiet when it ticks**
A: The second hand does tick.  It is asoft tick. I never hear it across the room but if you get real close you can hear it.
