A great trail guide!
This has been such a great guide! We’re using it a lot to get out in a secluded way during COVID. I’m learning tons about an area I’ve lived in a long time!

Has all the info you need for hikes and walks ...
Has all the info you need for hikes and walks in the area, including directions, dog friendly trails, distance and difficulty of hikes and walks. If you need a Discover Pass, it tells you. It has pictures and is small enough to carry in your pocket. I frequently use Romano's books in planning trips.

Get out and walk
I just moved to the area and found this book extremely useful for finding places to walk. I bought the kindle version so I can use it on my phone.

Excellent local resource for all kinds of walkers
Craig Romano has a whole series of urban trails books, based on locations like Olympia, Bellingham, Shoreline, etc. all of his books are user friendly, and accessible to use by a variety of walkers...moms with kids, singletons, beginner hikers, etc. I have several of his books, because sometimes I just want to explore beyond my backyard, and his books are an excellent resource. I have hiked the area for 30 years using a variety of resources and can say Craig's guidance/descriptions have not steered me wrong yet.
