CLEAN WATER!!
I have used this ozone generator for a month now. It has so many functions which makes it even more wonderful. It cleans areas, washes fruits and produce, does drinking water, cleans the smeel in cars, tooth brushes or C-pap equipment... You name it! For the price it helps solve many small problems Plus it is portable! The machine arrived in 2 days (with Prime) and was very easy to set up. I hung it by our kitchen exhaust fan to eliminate the ozone smell. Although the smell is quite pleasant! It should last around a year. You can get other machines as little as $160 that have lifetime warranties but I decided to go with this model to see how I liked it before looking at the more expensive model. This model came recommended to me by a friend who has MS. By drinking ozone treated water it has helped him with balance and his energy levels. Since I have had several strokes along with other medical problems I figured any relief would be worth it. So far I have felt better drinking the ozone water. So that has been worth it. I would recommend it. If it helps people with medical problems it should really help healthy people to feel better by eliminating poisonous areas of everyday life. Too bad we have to look out poisons in our water and food supply. Many other countries already use this to clean their city water and have outlawed the use of fluoride automatically. Hope this is of some help for you.

Aqua-6 Ozone Generator Rocks!
I live in Mexico, where we should disinfect all our fresh produce. I paid over $1,000 to have a really nice ozone generator built in under my kitchen sink. It is big enough to handle the job of keeping a large hot tub or swimming pool safe. I couldn't take it with me when I recently moved, and found this little guy on Amazon. I bought it while visiting my family in the States, and it is light enough to easily pack in your suitcase. I've been using it in my kitchen to safely disinfect my foods, and it works great. It is not attached to my plumbing like my other one, so I drop the tube with ceramic ball into my pan of water (not over 4 inches under) and let it do the job. What they don't tell you is that the water changes molecularly, and stays ozonated for 10 to 15 minutes, so wash your counters or soak your utensils in the water after you finish the 15 minute treatment with the produce. If you have eaten something that causes your stomach to churn, drink this water while it's ozone, and it will kill the bacteria in your stomach immediately! I highly recommend using something like this in every home. This one is just so affordable that it amazes me. I read all the reviews, so I don't know if it is a good idea to use it for oil. But the concept is interesting, and the instructions say you can do it. This unit can be used to kill the germs in the air of a room too. Imagine, after having a cold, or the flu, moving the person out and bringing this in to freshen things up! I can't do that with the $1,000 one attached to my plumbing in the house I built. So, I am a very pleased customer.

The future is Here
When it comes to cleaning you just can't beat nature. For too many years we have been using chemicals and those chemicals stink and adhere to everything and are all around not healthy in the slightest. Now we have ozonators? After using steam to clean surfaces I was intrigued to hear about ozone producers so I purchased this appliance. My first reaction? Well, it looks no different than a fish aquarium bubbler. Then I turned the unit on and stuck around seeing that as the directions stated, you have a 10 second delay before the unit comes on. I would say this is for giving you time to leave and close the door so the room will be unattended during its cleansing. Everyone is different, there just may be people sensitive to the smell and like it says in the instructions- could cause a burning sensation in the nostrils or lungs of certain individuals.(like smoke, bleach, ammonia etc... but you don't hear any statements much about that) I made the mistake of thinking the counter on the unit was minutes and not as the instructions stated numbered timings. so the number 2 is 5 minutes, not two minutes, but no bother, the gallon of water I treated was 5 minutes long instead of two minutes which didn't seem to hurt a thing. The smell? Well, that is hard to describe until you experience it. Metallic, yeah a little bit, but not unpleasant, just odd. After a few hours after the treatment it starts to smell like after a rain storm, nice and clean. And when I treated the gallon of water I placed my hand over the jug and when the oxygenized molecules hit my hand I put it up to my face and smelled it- to me it almost smelled like very cold plastic, like if your taking a frozen water bottle out of the freezer in a very hot room, but add a tiny hint of citrus to that smell. This intrigued me so I went to my cats and let them smell my hand. Hey, what can I say, they have great little snouts on them, they will let you know if something is healthy or not in an instant- let them smell your hand lotion and if they run away be aware that there is something not good for you in it. Anyway, the cats were really sniffing away, they liked the ozone smell bunches! So I then treated the bedroom, moments after the treatment I opened the door the cats went in and hung around the room so the smell is not harmful I predict or so says the finicky cats! This is our future apparatus for cleaning, we just can't go pouring bleach on all surfaces to remove molds and fungus. And we don't live near a volcano for that extra molecule of oxygen. So I wonder, how well do plants grow in rooms treated, and what does happen at the molecular level, are we awakening DNA that was once sleepy silent? Hmm, that leaves me with ever more reasons to use this product more. And I'm going to go read more articles on it and maybe find more answers than questions.

Multipurpose & reliable
As others have noted, it's easy to use for extending the life of fresh produce, I just put the produce in a stainless bowl, add water to cover, then insert the stone and run it for two minutes. To avoid breathing the excess ozone, I wrap a garbage bag around the bowl and hose, clamping it shut with a spring binder clip. After letting the assembly sit for a half hour after treatment, I could open the bag without getting a whiff of ozone. Strawberries were still in good shape a week after treatment, wow! It's also good for refreshing clothing that's been exposed to smoke- my leather jacket with fleece trim was a bit rustic after standing by a bonfire the other night, so I put it in a garbage bag, squeezed the air out, and ran it for ten minutes. The jacket smelled strongly of leather afterward, I think the ozone partially attacked the leather, so I don't recommend doing this often because it will probably age the leather. I used it on the 30 min/4hr setting at the cold air return for the forced-air heating system, set to run the fan continuously. I returned before the second 30 min cycle to turn it off, and only detected a very faint smell of ozone. I'll have to try this a few more times to tell if it makes the house smell better. Next, treating the stale-smelling old car overnight. More to report later.

Ozonating olive oil
My years old, well used machine was acting up, no ozone was being produced, and I gave it up for dead. I decided to go on Amazon and buy a new one. However, I got lucky and found the problem, and fixed it. Figuring there was nothing to lose, I modified the old machine. I had been wanting to ozonate oil, but this particular machine cannot do it (without modifications). One reason it cannot "fully" ozonate oil is the oil becomes very, very thick, like Vaseline. If the machine turns off while the air-stone is submerged, thickened oil will back-up into the air-stone, and then travel some distance up the rubber hose. And, assuming you use Setting #10, 20 minutes on, 40 off... 40 minutes later, when the machine turns back on again, the tiny, weak air pump will not be able to push the oil out of the hose. And, very likely, the corona discharge tube will short out, overheat or burn itself out, since no air is flowing through it while ozone builds up inside of it. Modifications. Anyway....I bypassed the electronic controls by jumping the two relays which control the air pump and the corona discharge tube (the tube which produces ozone). With the modification, both the tube and the pump are always running. It can run 24 hours a day. I also cut a large hole in the case, and mounted a powerful computer fan directly above the corona tube. Also drilled lots of ventilation holes in the case, so cool air circulates and keeps everything cool. I will not detail how I did all this. If you don't already know how from my description, you shouldn't be messing with electricity, especially not this type of high voltage stuff. It's very dangerous. I was curious about ozonating oil, and I assume other people are, so I am posting this for information purposes only. ------------ People often claim it takes "weeks" to produce fully ozonated oil. Actually, the required time depends on the amount of oil you begin with. 200 ml of oil will take 4 times as long as 50ml. A certain amount of ozone will ozonate a certain amount of oil, in a certain amount of time. This machine delivers 0.6 grams per hour on pure oxygen. So, it delivers about 100mg / hour when run on atmosphere air. However, that assumes an impossible 100% efficiency. I figure 40%-50% efficiency is closer to the truth. So, start with a small amount of oil or it will take forever to complete the ozonating process. ----------- Olive oil goes through 3 stages when it is ozonated... 3 chemical transformations. The oil actually changes to something else. I do not think it still considered an "oil" or a "fat" when it is done. (Do any triglycerides survive?) And the oil does not become rancid like oil or fat normally does when oxygen "attacks" it. Ozone acts differently. They say..."As ozone bubbles through the olive oil, it is changed into an ozonide, C10 H18 O3..." Nothing obvious happens in the first stage. Air simply bubbles through it. But at the 2nd stage you notice the oil is getting a little thicker, and the greenish / yellow color of the olive oil fades a bit. It also foams up. Then in the last stage, the oil becomes very thick, gooey and foamy. Mine never became pure "white". It retained a slight yellow tint. Some people say it eventually turns white. Perhaps that is true. ----------------- I started with 50ml of oil in a 100ml graduated cylinder. I used a cheap little blue, Walmart air-stone, because it was skinny enough to fit in the 100ml graduated cylinder. At first, the 50ml of oil bubbled up to the 80 ml mark. As time went on, the oil gradually foamed up higher and higher, until it almost overflowed the tall graduated cylinder. So, whatever amount you start with, the container needs to be at least 3 times as tall. 4 times is better. Plan on there being lots of foam. The bubbles seem to become more elastic with time, and do not pop so easily. Finally, it was like thick hot lava, or very thick honey, slowly bubbling. And the oil has thousands of tiny air/ozone bubbles inside of it. According to my notes-- (This begins with 50 ml oil.) About 20 hours, some slight increase viscosity can be seen. Near 45 hours. Yellow color is fading a bit. Oil is getting thick. There's definitely a substantial foam now. Foam level is near 90 ml. Near 60 hours. Foam rising to 100 ml level. Near 70 hours. Foam is rising to about the 120ml mark (if there was one). Very thick. Single large bubbles are popping at the surface, perhaps one every 5 seconds. It's just about done. I let it run a few more hours, and nothing changed, so I guess the process was finished. --------------- Due to widespread, long time ozone paranoia (some blame the drug companies for spreading the fear) there's very little solid, scientifically proven information about ozone (from USA, in English language), ozonated oil, and all the therapeutic uses. However, the ozone water purification industry is well established, and a good source of scientific information. Eventually, I found a couple of useful tidbits. For instance.. According to the simple facts of chemistry, fully ozonated olive oil can hold approximately 13.9 gm per 100ml. Different seed and vegetable oils can hold different amounts. Olive oil can hold a whole lot of ozone. That means you need to generate and deliver 0.139 grams of ozone for EACH ml. of olive oil you begin with. If this Aqua 6 machine delivers 0.100 gram per hour running on atmospheric air, one ml of oil would take more than an hour. And since efficiency is FAR LESS than 100%, it's gonna take a lot longer than an hour to ozonate just one milliliter of oil. Chemists and doctors have bubbled a lot of different gases, like formaldehyde and many others, through olive oil, for various purposes. The oil absorbs certain things, and allows others to pass through. For instance, I read that inhaled ozone doesn't "sting" and damage human tissue if it is first bubbled through olive oil. Back in the olden days (late 1800s) many doctors used ozone as an inhalant. Eventually, a doctor who administered ozone to patients noticed the oil became very thick. And rather than throw it out, the doctor tried it on cuts and bruises. So, I think the therapeutic use of ozonated olive oil was an accidental discovery. --------- Regarding the photos. The graduated cylinder laying on its side. I let the foam subside for about 20 hours at room temperature. Eventually, the foam broke, and most of the internal bubbles rose and disappeared. And by laying the cylinder on its side, you can see how thick the oil became.

Dangerous Product That Should be Pulled
Dangerous item that should be pulled from distribution. Bought to ozonate drinking water. Hung unit on kitchen wall next to window. Was told in paperwork and on email from company that there was no need to have window open, but the ozone smell was thick/dense. As breathing in ozone is dangerous, kept window open and left room for the 5-minute water processing. Water was disgusting, tasted like chlorine, and the glass also retained the ozone smell. My nose bled and my smell was impacted from simply drinking from the glass that had previously had the ozonator filter in it. I returned it October 18th, after 1 1/2 days. If the unit and my experience with the unit were not bad enough, Amazon sent an email a month later, November 22, claiming they did not receive the unit. When I called and spoke to a rep, they saw that they received it on October 30th and there was a glitch in their system which they then fixed. Today December 7, I got charged for this ozone machine, with the continued claim they did not receive the return, so I had to call again and repeat the process. Apparently and amazingly Amazon, on their end, did not complete the 'return complete' details. The toxicity and danger of this item is priority one but the fact that I have never had this issue with Amazon and that it happened with this particular toxic product is an awful reminder of it. Toxic product. Get it out of your system.

Caution! Works well but be aware...
I am using this to keep my cold dunk chest freezer setup clean from anything that might grow in it instead of using chemicals. I've had it in a waterproof box outside for almost two years now (left it out through two winters in Colorado) and it's still running fine and keeping the water clean. BE VERY CAUTIOUS THOUGH! Be very careful to breathe in as little of the ozone as possible. This last weekend I accidentally knocked loose the hose that connects to the bottom of the unit so instead of the ozone going into the freezer it filled up the waterproof container. When I opened the container I got hit with a concentrated breath of ozone and have been suffering since. I've also breathed it in when opening the chest freezer and now make sure to hold my breath when opening the lid and air out the freezer for a few minutes before getting in. Ozone irritates your nasal passages and other airway passages and it's been like having a bad head cold for the last 3 days. Along with the irritation it increases your bodies allergic reactions to allergens like pollen. So the last few days have been lots of sneezing and lots of mucus production and a sore throat for the first two days. Feeling a bit better on the third day after. Sources: Health Effects of Ozone in Patients with Asthma and Other Chronic Respiratory Disease from the epa Enhancement of Nasal Inflammatory and Epithelial Responses after Ozone and Allergen Coexposure in Brown Norway Rats Lots of other articles with a quick Google search. TL;DR good unit that's worked for me but be careful!

Great way to clean CPAP machine at a great price
I have a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, and wanted to make sure the breathing tubes stay clean and mold free. Soaking the equipment daily or weekly in a vinegar/dish soap solution is just not practical for me with my busy lifestyle. And to be honest I was not confident that that was going to truly get it clean. I looked into the SoClean CPAP cleaning machines sold on Amazon, but they're about $300. This little A2Z Ozone Aqua generator does the same job at about 1/4 the price. Just take the hose and stick it in the end of your breathing tube, and set the ozone machine to run for about 15 minutes. The ozone will blow through your breathing tube up into the machine. Afterwards, you can attach the little white stone diffuser to the end of the tube and place it in your water tank to sterilize that for 10 minutes or so. Be sure to do this in a closed room with a shut door; or place your equipment in a box of some sort, or throw a heavy blanket or towel over it, to keep the ozone fumes from causing irritation. As a bonus, you can use this as an air purifier to remove odors in a small room up to 300 square feet - just set it, shut the door and go. I used it to remove food odors from our small kitchen and it worked like a charm. Be sure to let the room air out for about 20-30 minutes before re-entering. And of course you can also use it to purify your water, which would come in handy during an electric grid blackout, assuming you have a generator to supply power. This is a versatile product at a great price and I would definitely buy it again!
