Great sound & awesome service after the sale.
I had these speakers for four months before I was even able to install them. The installation was easy, and they sound great! The Bluetooth is the best feature. I can leave my music player in my pocket and ride with the controls at the tip of my thumb. At least I could for the first few months. Then the Bluetooth stopped working for some reason. But that's where the story gets really good. Rockville's service after the sale is awesome! At first, they offered to replace the entire system. I told them it wasn't a physical problem but in the electronics of the controller. They had me make a short video to demonstrate the issue I was having. Bluetooth would connect, but there was no music and no controls. Once they reviewed the video, I was informed that they'll send me a new controller, free of charge, and I didn't even need to send to old one back, because it's no longer working completely anyway. Their sales rep took a personal approach to resolving this issue, and offered up a quick & simple solution. Problem solved & I have my music back! A top tier business.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME
So I bought this for my 86 Goldwing since the factory stereo isn't quite loud enough to hear. Took about 2 weeks to get it and I was so excited to actually get it and get it installed. After about 4 hours of trying to run the mile of wires that it comes with I finally got it installed... It sounded great a little crackling at max volume but still VERY loud. Took it down the road (about 4 miles roundtrip) about 80 mph and it was still loud. I got to ride about a week after that (about 6 miles roundtrip and about 30 mins of play time during that small ride) and it worked great. Didn't have a single issue with it and loved it. Altogether it has been ridden about 10 miles and about 45 mins max since I got it installed. I went to check my levels on oil and gas on it this evening because I am going to ride it in the morning and I went out to the bike and the system had turned itself on mysteriously. The controls were lit up and I pushed the power button to switch inputs to see if it was still working and it switched over to Aux Mode. I shut the thing off and tried to start the bike and it had killed my new battery. I put the charger on the bike and finally got it started up and went to turn the radio on and NOTHING... I checked to make sure the fuses hadn't blown which they had not. I dug down and unplugged the connections and plugged them all back up and still nothing. I have requested a refund I guess we'll see how that turns out VERY DISAPPOINTED

The speakers work great, the USB port is to weak to power modern electronics.
I would give it five stars for the sound alone. At 60 mph I can still hear my music. However, it lost two stars because the USB port is not strong enough to run modern electronics. It put my phone in slow charging, 16 hours to full charge. I tried to plug my touchscreen into it, that just flickered because it wasn't enough power to run it. And it's a whole mess of cables and wires and frustration. My phone doesn't even have an auxiliary port on it so no plugging in headphones or any other type of jacks. And the brackets that hold the speakers on the handlebars are weak. They bend out of shape very easily. If you're looking for a good set of Bluetooth speakers these will definitely do the trick, just be aware of their faults. I hate to leave it all at negative comments though. I set the whole thing up in about 20 minutes the first day. Decide I wanted it set up different a week later and that took about 25 minutes to change. So it's very easy. I've already decided that I want to add a fuse box under the seat of my bike to run all my additional electronics so I'm going to set it up a third time it's so easy. The reason I'm adding the fuse box is because it does negatively affect my battery life but that's okay it has a quick connect break in the line so I've been using that. The fuse box will let me hook it up to the accessories switch on the ignition. With some adjustments to the equalizer on my phone, I've got great sound coming out of it. Now that I have it hooked up to a touchscreen with Android Auto I've used the touch screens equalizer, it still has great sound. The look is awesome. I don't have a fairing or windshield or anything on my bike so these just stick up from my handlebars but I think they look great. And the size is good. So overall, I would recommend these. Just understand that you're not going to use that USB port for anything modern.

A good compromise
Mounted on my 2015 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 with GIVI Airflow windscreen and stock pipe. The bike is very quite. I do not wear a helmet. Bass... They're 3" speakers. Don't expect much. You want bass? Tow a trailer behind you with a subwoofer and large amp. Although they are good speakers, one thing that bugs me is that they are advertised as metal speakers. The housings are definitely plastic and the mounts are junk (most brands come with junk for mounts). Spend another $9 or so, and get some Lamphus 3/4" to 1-1/2"mounts. The spacers are really tight on the Lamphus mounts, so be prepared to have a second pair of hands and maybe a channel lock plier to compress the spacers enough for the screws to engage. Wrap the jaws with electrical tape so you don't scratch the mounts. On to the sound quality. I'd say very good in most cases. Definately not for bass booming tunes, but for most cases you can crank them all the way up. If they distort, I back off about 3 clicks. I listen to blues, rock, pop, country, classical. No rap. Rap is... well I could rhyme here... nevermind. Clarity at speed? Forget it above 65-70mph unless wind conditions are ideal. This is the case with most bike mounted speakers. I also ride a HD Street Glide with 240 watts and 2 6" speakers mounted in the batwing fairing. This is even hard to hear at speeds over 70mph. The bigger and wider the windscreen/ fairing, the better the sound. Get the wind decibels down if you want to hear more from ANY speakers. The best thing about these compared to others is the fact that there is no external amp to take up space. The seperate controller is also nice to have. Much easier than fiddling with your phone at speed, and it's lighted. Could use an external antenna for fm. I can only receive 2-3 clear stations in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, and there is no station memory other than your original scan. You then proceed forward and back with the corresponding buttons. Unfortunately on the original scan, it picks up many weak stations with nothing but static. Not an issue. I wouldn't even use this feature unless my phone was dead. I do wish they came with mirror stem mounts. Installation would be much more convenient for many applications. I can just peek over them to see an unobstructed intrument panel with them mounted as close to me as the clamps and brackets will allow. Overall, I would say that I'm satisfied. They are what they are, and they did meet my expectations. I would recommend them over others I have researched, and believe me, I've researched extensively. One little sidenote, I don't have to haul my large Alpatronix bluetooth spreaker to bonfires anymore. I just pull the bike somewhere close and let it blast. Saves spaces in my Givi topcase for beverages and such. Not much draw from the battery, but I do carry a jumper just in case. They get much louder and sound beter than my bulky portable. That's it for now. Hope it was helpful. I will follow up later if I run into any issues.

Worth the money
First off the surround sound these 2 speakers put out is amazing! They could use a little more bass, but it's not horrible. I can hear it going 70mph. Some songs that have more treble can be a bit much on the ears. I've added a video, the volume is no where near the loudest, just wanted to give you an idea with the bike idling and a picture of the wire you have to hide. The only complaints I have is the amount of wire and the fact you can't unhook it from the speaker, if it did it would be easier to run through the factory clips and holders a lot easier. I also wish when I turned the key off it would shut off too without actually turning it off.

Loud
My wife really likes these they are very loud the only complaint she has would be that she needs to use ear plugs to hear them better over the wind on her 883 iron with aftermarket exhaust. Bluetooth connects perfectly the quality of these speakers is great the look sharp on the bike. And they out perform most everything of the same style.
