That they work and easy to install.
They feel quite good quality and have a nice look and feel.

New house, new patio doors
Seem solid enough. Bought a pair to try them out for size and they fitted so bought two more. They are set quite close to the hinges to hold our patio doors open and I guess if you didn't know the doors were restrained and you yanked then, the screws might pull out of UPVC. I used slightly bigger screws of my own and some 'no nails' tape I had spare from another job to belt and braces install. Time will tell but they're nice and heavy and the hooks are a good shape not to work themselves out of the eye like cheaper ones tend to do.

Latch & Hook are great quality but...
It never ceased to annoy me when a good quality, well made item, is supplied with cheap, 'soft' screws; I'd rather pay more and have decent screws.The hook and latch are excellent; well made, strong and beautifully finished, but be prepared to supply your own screws. Using an electric variable speed screwdriver and using good pressure (having already made a pilot hole into the pine frame), the screws mashed. The problem is the screw thread is too high (fine) for the job.Just my opinion/experience - would I buy again? Absolutely, but I'd have my own screws ready and waiting.

Really useful latch for our kitchen door.
The media could not be loaded. We bought these so we could leave the kitchen door a jar when we cook. Also good when it's hot and we want a breeze. Really recommend them. We put them high so our daughter can't play with them.
