I made a barn door (for closet) out of pine wood and a cabinet catch would not hold it closed so I bought this and it works great!

Works great for my very large door. Very strong magnets and nice chrome finish, good hardware!

Most magnetic latches barely latch. Look at them funny and the door opens. But these take a fair amount of force to open and I use them whenever the standard magnetic latches don't latch. The woodshed door would blow open but for this latch. A door into a crawlspace doesn't want to stay closed -- it springs open when shut all the way -- but the magnetic latch keeps that door closed flush with the jam. Easy to install with hex screws and an impact driver, but *everything* is easy to install with an impact driver.

Bought this for a heavy attic access panel. VERY satisfied with this product. From the packaging to the manufacturing to its sheer gusto, this is a winner. After trying many different clamps and other magnetic catches that weren't nearly as strong, I'm finally content with the amount of catch force that our access panel has. I highly recommend it!

This was a bit tricky (for me) to install but, once dialed in it looks great and really does the job.

I used these on shutters who latches were made of plastic and deteriorated in UV light over time. I had trouble finding new latches strong enough to hold the shutters closed. These did the trick.

It's larger and MUCH stronger than I imagined. 120 LBS is VERY powerful. You can barely pull the catch from the magnet by hand. The stainless looks nice. It was way too powerful for my large medicine cabinets. This magnet is for very heavy-duty applications only. 120 LBS, what was I thinking? This may be just what you're looking for! : )
