Restored 15 year old dress shoes to look like new
I was skeptical about it working or not coming off onto my pants. I'm happy to say it worked amazingly! I highly recommend it for anyone who has a leather garment that has faded or been scuffed. After using it on my dress shoes they looked brand new and the color has not transferred to anything else. The color has lasted for well over 5 years and still going! I did use a transparent top coat from a different company. I don't know how much affect that has had on the performance of this product, so I recommend a top coat to get the same high quality and long-lasting results that I have had. Would definitely buy it again! Amazing value to restore leather goods to like new condition!

REALLY WORKS!!!
Easy to use.. Lasting on our leather couches for months... Before putting the product on my leather couches I thought, "if this ruins them... that is ok with me". I just hated to go out and purchase new leather couches. (and this was before our economy went absolutely sic crazy!}. I love the look, brighter than I thought it would be but so much better than the sun faded red leather that turned a purple pink!!! It took three coats but worth the time and effort. Don't get discouraged when you see the lines... it just takes another coat or two. Did NOT stain my hardwood when spilled, washed off my hands well. Will stain your work clothes! Love it and have used it on a very nasty old couch (for someone else) and it has made a vast difference! I still need to put another coat on the brown couch. My red leather couches look better than the photos show.. .. used black on my husbands leather truck seats and they look great!!! Great product!

Works Great!
Bought this for my Leather Sectional. I was skeptical at first, but this really works! Turned out actually great. The only issue it fades after a month. I bought the top coat application and should have used that, but didn’t. This would probably have extended the color.

Amazing results on a sun-faded black sofa
I spent the afternoon applying this to a couch that has been sitting under a very sunny window for its 6-7 year lifetime. It was also high end-natural vegetable dyed sofa to begin with and it was always a bit more color variation than I liked. This product brought out a pretty solid black, but it looks gorgeous and I have no regrets. Application was easy and satisfying, and the product dried quickly. One thing though, the included dauber fell apart halfway through, so be sure to grab a few of those cheap craft sponges (the ones on sticks) if you’re doing a big project. I didn’t have one and my improvised kitchen sponge left it a little streaky. I’ll need to go to the craft store now for those touch-ups...but well worth it, I’m pretty sure I just added up to $500 more for my asking price on the sofa. One jar just made it on my small/medium frame 80” sofa. In my ‘after’ photo it still looks wet but it rubbed in nicely after that. I’m just too tired now to do updated photos :)

I found the best!
I wanted to completely recover this vintage leather sofa and I had no idea how! I didn’t even know you could re-dye leather like this. It was my first project in re-dying, when I was gifted this leather couch and I can’t tell you with the research I did & the products i found, I can’t tell you enough how this was one of the best ones! I redo furniture and know the concept of coloring & technique but this went on so smoothly and without effort. Step 1: Mix the top cleaner & water together in a bowl. Apply with a microfiber or clean cloth. This will help clean your furniture and provide a base for the dye to be applied. Wait 30 minutes to dry. Step 2: apply dye with a sponge. (I purchase a leather applicator sponge on Amazon that is used to color leather jackets, car seats, etc.) I put the dye in a paint can and applied little pressure in circular motion when applying the dye to the furniture. You don’t need a lot!! This dye goes a long way. It’s better to start off with a light coat and reapply a second coat. Wait 72 hrs. Step 3: After 72 hrs apply the top coat and protectant. This set of 3 products (cleaner, dye, too coat) comes in a kit. I highly recommend since it is the proper way to redo furniture. Apply the top coat/protectant with a sponge or cloth. I chose a sponge with a handle so that way I had more control. IT CAME OUT AMAZING!!! As you can see and it hasn’t cracked or transferred.

Seems easy enough, but then . . .
Tried out this Leather Color Restorer on the back side of our leather couch and let it dry for 24 hours, as per the instructions. The product itself is the consistency of water and went on very easily. After a day, all I can see are streaks going up and down the entire thing where I sponged on the product. The color is spot-on, but I cannot continue to re-color the whole couch if there's going to be visible streaking on the whole thing. I really thought this would be more of a creamy consistency that could be rubbed on until it was at least semi-dry, and see no streaking once it's fully dried. Kinda disappointed.

Saved me from buying a new Couch and loveseat!
Stuff worked like a charm on worn areas where dye had been worn away. Also use it on shoes, does an excellent job on both. My Dark Brown leather furniture looks brand new. This was my second purchase of this product, bought the 2oz last time and it lasted 2 years and keeps my top grain leather furniture looking fresh. Picked up the 4oz on Prime Day for only $5.00 more than 2oz so I am good for years to come. Highly recommend this product. Good for wear spots, not too good if you have pet scratches, but I found a way around that by lightly sanding the scratch until level and then apply the dye. It worked for me. I used a fine grit drywall sanding block and it did the job. it all depends how deep the pet scratches are. Mine were not to deep and I removed little leather to get back to level.

Bought this in dark brown and its wn absolute miracle. I was going to get my couch a professional color restoration for $500, this did exactly the same thing at a fraction of the price. The color magically blended with my original couch color and it made it look brand new.

A reclining chair having sentimental value is in need of work, there are prominent cracks and discolourations. Knowing colour matching is almost impossible, I bought two dark chocolate bottles to give it a change over. I was hesitant at first, carefully following instructions and preparing for the worst, but wow ! The result is just beyond my imagination. The leather continues to be supple, the colour lively, although cracks are still there but much less prominent. I immediately ordered a Hero top coat to give it a layer of satin finish. Now I have a majestic piece that I can comfortably sit on and reminiscent the good old days !
