Anova Precision Cooker Lid

Fits Both Anova Nano and Dash Sous Vide Perfectly, I have both and it actually fits the Dash even better, the Anova Nano it has a hair of a space between the base, the Dash is a form fit.I found it hard to tell if the lid was rigid or not and I was happy to see that it is very flexible so you can lift the lid front if needed without completely removing.The firmness to the lid is really nice since I have a similar silicone lid that does gap just a little since it is more playable, this one is has a better overall enclosure which will allow less steam loss.Size is very nice, fits my large stainless round pot perfectly that is 9 1/2" wide. The lid sits slightly forward on one side without any gapping, so will fit a 10 1/2" size and anything smaller.From the image it almost looks like the lip snaps onto your cooking vessel but the edge does not snap on the underside is perfectly smooth and round enabling the use of any size container.Overall very happy! Nice product that sits perfectly to create a nice seal.My only minor complaint and it is quite minor is some silicone items have that slightly gritty feel to them soon after being cleaned as though it "feels" dirty. Like they attract every minor bit of dust. This silicone does feel like that even when clean but I may be more sensitive to that feel and it is not a deal breaker. Overall its a keeper.

The lid does what it needed to do. It keeps the water from evaporating and retain heat of the water during sous vide. The material is nice and high quality rubber. Make sure you measure your pot before buying it. I have the Anove Nano Circulator and this lid fits very well with it. I don't know about the regular size Anova circulator though.

This cover works great and fits perfectly on my pot for my sous vide. It maintains the heat evenly and prevent the loss of water. Very please with the purchase.

Received my Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker Lid a few days ago. It is made of heavy rubber. Fits perfectly on my 9.5” stockpot with a bit of overhang. The cutout fits perfectly for my Anova Nova. There is a lip to keep the lid in place. I have used the lid 3 times now and the lid brings the temp up more quickly than just using aluminum foil. The lid also prevents evaporation for longer cooks. I highly recommend this product. The lid should last a very long time.

Generally speaking this is a good product. It is made of rubber. If you have a larger sous vide stick, a pair of scissors will allow you to enlarge the area where the stick sits on the pot. This lid will fit almost any pot with a diameter smaller than 11 inches. This is strictly a rubber plate that sits on top. Other than a very small lip on the outer edge of the rubber cover, there are not additional fittings on the cover. It is no different placing a dinner plate on top of a pan or pot.My one criticism of this cover is that it is not more rigid. However, that does not impact its performance. It comes with a styrofoam support as part of the packaging. I plan to use the styrofoam as additional insulation and as additional support for the cover. I may use some double stick tape to make that happen. This is not a problem since no food will come in contact with the cover or styrofoam. Just rinse, dry and put away.

I love using my Anova sous vide circulator, but I felt guilty about using enough plastic wrap to cover the stockpot each time I cook sous vide, which is quite frequently. I emailed Anova to ask how the plastic bag stays attached to the side of the 10" diameter stockpot without clips. They replied that the weight of the cover would hold everything in place. I was skeptical, but am finding that it works just fine, even for a fairly large roast. Sous vide cooking is great. This cover completes the package.

The Anova pot lid fits my 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker. I sous vide using the Ninja Foodi in my mancave next to my Ninja coffee maker and my blender. Since my mancave doesn't have running water I use bottled water. I'm grateful that the Ninja Foodi can quickly heat the water to the proper cooking temperature and then I carefully remove the pot to the counter to finish the slow cooking process with my Anova Nano. I have a second 6.5 quart pot to air crisp or to prepare other foods and snacks too. The lid also comes in handy when sautéing food. I also have another 10 quart soup pot that I use for sous vide and the Anova pot lid fits it perfectly too. I expect to buy another lid since I also own a 6 quart Instant Pot Duo Mini and an Instant Pot sous vide cooker for my kitchen for the times when I need to slow cook several foods at different temps and times. You don't 'need' the Anova sous vide lid but it sure makes your life less miserable when you don't have to use plastic wrap or aluminum foil to limit evaporation for those long cooking times which can be upwards to 48 hours for tougher meats like rump roasts, briskets, and pork shoulders.

I received this product perfectly packaged at home in a reasonable time due to covid 19 and was ideal for my pot. Perfect application and retention of steam as required for proper cooking. If you have a 26cm pot diameter is the ideal pair

Works great on 30cm stock pot with my Joule sous vide. Zero evaporation over 48hr cook and temps remain stable. No more messing about with cling film.
