CorningWare French White 4-Quart Covered Casserole

I purchased this baking dish as a replacement gift, for my daughter-in-law. She had a large white casserole, that I think one of the kids broke. It came up amount the missing. Who knows? This was an excellent replacement as it also had a lid. Very happy with this purchase.

The box was in perfect condition, but the corningware dish was BROKEN all the way through. don't understand how that happened. I initiated a replacement to be sent & I have to return the broken dish. I was looking forward to using my dish.

All of my Corning Ware products are excellent. Easy to Clean, Dishwasher Safe, Heat in Oven or Microwave and the French White is so Classy.

Bought this larger size pot for our son so he can make casseroles. You can't go wrong with corningware!! Well built a nice size.

This item was a disaster! Do not buy! First of all, the lid was not a perfect fit. That should have raised red flags, but I positioned it over my meatloaf and put it in a 350 degree oven. About an hour into baking, I heard a noise and went to look. The entire lid had shattered, all over my $32 worth of ground beef meatloaf, with company due in half an hour! There were shards everywhere, as well as chunks of glass. No way was this lid made for the oven! It was cheap tempered glass. I had to send my husband out for rotisserie chickens at the last minute, as I did not want to take a risk of my guests or us ingesting shards of glass. I am deeply disappointed in Corningware and I would love restitution for my $32 worth of meat and the disruption of my dinner plans with friends. This was absolutely awful.
