I just received my Theory tool today. I haven't had a chance to use it fishing yet but I did play with it a little bit at the kitchen table. I am extremely happy so far. I have arthritic fingers and it is difficult to tie my lures on my line. The TYEPRO made it much easier. Thank you so much for this invention.

Greatest thing since sliced bread!!! I don't see very well and this has been a real life saver for me. Lets me tie my own hooks and small jigs without having someone help me. (what a hassell) The only real draw back is that it does not do larger jigs like swim jigs etc. But no worries. I'm happy with it. Giving them to al my fishing friends and family. Thanks for thinking about old half blind people.

Due to a partial paralysis of my right hand, it is nearly impossible for me to tie any fishing knot using only my hands. I have tried every knot-tying tool offered on Amazon. This tool works very well for everything it was designed to do. The hook-threading feature is a great help with small hooks and jigs. I gave this tool only four stars because it is limited to just a few knots, such as the clinch and improved clinch knots.

it does the job, but it could be improved by making one of the threading holes more of a large funnel shaped would help those with low vision. I had a threader that clipped to the rod with a nice funnel shaped end, but alas it fell in the lake. only problem so far is that it is not designed to hold swivels, they tend to move too much in the groove then lay flat making threading impossible.

54 yrs old and don't have the patience for all the fancy knots. Yes I understand they serve their purpose, I just don't have the patience. I just want a nice simple, easy, knot that keeps the lure on the line. And that's exactly what it does. Easy peasy! Money well spent

Everything works as expected . Request you put a eye opener on back of the tool ,then it is perfect. Wonder why you don't use a knot for braided line. I will work on that. This is a good tool for an person with disabilities in their hands (arthritis) to continue fishing. Thanks

Shaky hands, poor vision and old age add up to long periods between tying on smaller hooks and jigs...NO MORE...works like a charm, so much so I tried it on a size 16 fly and it worked on that too...look out trout...A bit pricey but it works so I can live with that...good job Tyepro...would like to see a reduced price for a pair though...

You can watch the video read the instructions. But it is no help in tying line to any size hooks. I tried small hooks and jigs to larger eyed hooks and jigs. The same thing happened each time. The eye of the hook would not go deep enough into the grabber, or if it did, it would pivot around so the eye wasn't in alignment with the line guide. Poor eyesight, moving boat, or older dexterity all claimed to be no problem. But it is a problem that it doesn't work. When you finally get the line through the eye and go to tighten the knot be careful as the hook will pull out the clamp and stick in you fingers. It happened twice and that was enough for me. Very expensive disappointment can't always believe what you see on video.
