So your wife casually mentions that she would like a new cheese grater. We have a collapsible box grater and over time it has gotten terribly deformed. She now hates box graters... Yule is coming up... grate. (haha) Terrific. So, i open amazon to get one of those little doodads they got over at Olive Garden to cheese up literally every plate they bring to your table. But then this is staring me down. It's top rated. On the top of the first page. It has to be a joke. Five stars. I hate box graters. This, folks, is no joke. It is a good grater. A better gag gift and just the thing to get a gen-x wife whose spirit animal is a ninja turtle (Michelangelo on a good day, Raph on a bad.. iykyk). I would say, my gripe with this is the actual paint on Shredder's head is pretty bleary. I might try to touch it up myself. Other than that this is a sturdy and well made, box grater. If you hate box graters but love TMNT, get it. If you hate TMNT but love box graters, get it- it's a good'n. If you hate both, get it anyway. Just get it.

Bought this for myself, and will buy for every white elephant from here on out. Hand wash only but we'll worth it. Packaging was cool, item cool. Definitely a great purchase for any tmnt fan! Plus our kiddos love it too.

Water seems to collect on the rubber bottom when cleaning so watch out with the cleaning
