Bloc Osma Alum Stone 75g Block 3 Pack

I've used this brand before, so zi knew what to expect. The highest quality block available. Stops bleeding from weepers as well as the occasional razor nick immediately. I shave my head with a duble edged safety razor, so I can tell you with great certainty, these alum blocks WORK! And they're solid, not compressed alum crystals. So they're super smooth and don't work like sandpaper as the conpressed blocks do!

These things are the old world magic... Stops nicks instantly, closes pores, can be used as an antiperspirant/deodorant; I cannot in good faith recommend that for it though, it is basically aluminum. Great stuff though. I've discovered something natural to replace the very brief time I used this as a deodorant, but if you do use it as such you will not smell that is a fact. Great for the feet and sweating/smell.

Best alum stone out there. Smaller in physical size but substantial in weight. Haven't had an issue with these stones at all. Seem to be better constructed than others. This three pack should last me many years. Don't drop it obviously. Very smooth and works as it should. A regular part of my shave routine. Great purchase.

This is specifically advertised as Bloc Osma, which is my favorite alum by far. This is a very cheap alum block from a company called 7126. It is poor quality, and a large corner of one block crumbled and fell apart when I unwrapped the plastic (there is no box). This is absolutely false advertising. Do not buy from this seller.

OSMA alum blocks are markedly better than the rest for one reason... They are a solid block of alum NOT an aggregate of fragments heated up and pressed into a block. Cheaper blocks (not always cheaper in price) are made out as I described above. After a month or so daily use, you will find them starting to disintegrate, especially if you aren't careful to carefully dry them after use. OSMA blocks last me about 10 months. They finally get so small and the edges so tiny, that I'll get distracted by the dogs wanting to eat or my wife asking a question and I drop it in the sink and it shatters. But even as a tiny bar... It never loses it integrity. I still dry it off daily with toilet paper and keep it in a plastic case from a cheap block that I got years ago when I first started wet shaving. When traveling, I pad the plastic case with toilet tissue.

I've tried other alum blocks and the Bloc Osma are much nicer. The surface finish is so much smoother. It feels like the block is a solid piece rather than a bunch of small crystals bonded together. Glides very easily over my skin. Was a little surprised how small the blocks are, but I still think they will last for a long time.

Works well, last a long time.

Silly me, but because the product is described as being Bloc Osma, I thought I was going to receive Bloc Osma. Instead, I received something called Dr. Sharp Barber Alum. I included a picture. Also, it must have been shipped across the Pacific via sampan as it took over a month to get here. Find someone else to buy your Osma from.
