Perfect fit - a lifesaver post surgery
This was a lifesaver after my sciatica/facet joint cyst removal surgery, as I experienced severe hip pain on sit/stand movements, especially using the toilet. Very small bathroom so couldn't do the big rack things, and wanted something easy to install. This fits perfectly on my elongated bowl toilet. It's extremely secure. I like how there are two width options for the handles, which are very nicely padded. Literally 10 min from opening the box to ready to go. The seat material is smooth and comfortable. It definitely lifts you higher so have something to put your feet on if you're shorter! So far it's staying clean and based on it's design I don't envision it would leak ever.

Good quality
I bought this raised toilet seat for after back surgery. It fit well on my toilet and seemed very secure. The height was perfect to not have to bend down too far after surgery. It was easy to install, just place on toilet and twist a knob. It felt secure every time. I did have to clean it more than my regular toilet but nothing leaked out. The handles were sturdy and comfortable to use when needed.

Doesn’t fit perfectly for two different elongated toilets, but still could work
The item arrived in terrific packaging. When purchasing, at checkout, I made sure to select not to ship in manufacturers box, but to use it inside an Amazon box. Items were still covered in plastic and packaged well and I could tell it had not been used or anything. Four stars because it does not exactly fit the two different toilet bowls I’d like to use it on. Both bowls are elongated and the piece that you screw in. The front only goes so far forward. There are plastic pieces in the back of the bowl that have a curved edge, and that helps also to keep it a bit steady and latch in. The instructions say not to lean on the bowl and because it does not fit exactly as it should. I can see that being a problem. If an elderly person or someone or to put one hand only on one of the handlebars as they were sitting down or getting up, it may more easily slide or pop out. Best, if you can remember to use both handlebars when sitting down or getting up. This might be more difficult for my aging mother who will be visiting. Her memory is compromised and she may not remember to use both hands. we are going to try it and see how it works for her. I have tried it and installed it and sat on it myself and feel that it might work. Also, I tried it on two different toilets and how it fits. Also depends on the toilet seat itself. That’s already on the toilet. to install this device, you lift up the toilet lid and the toilet seat and then you put this device down on the bowl. The height of the toilet seat that is now at your back depends on how well this will fit. I removed one of them and tried installation, but then my bowl is definitely too long and the device would definitely not fit. just as I thought, I think this is a try it and see if it works kind of item. Every toilet bowl is different and we have three different toilets in our house and they’re all different. And this fits differently on at least two of them. But I’m going to keep it and see how it works out.

A weird Issue
I think the quality of the product is great and the sturdiness of the product is great The handles are great and padded. What doesn't really make sense is the well pronounced dented part in front of the toilet seat. Why and what purpose is that for? At first I thought that was my problem with missing the toilet when I pee. I am a small female so I thought well darn it so I tried to make sure I sit a little further back. That didn't fix the problem either because urine actually goes under the seat onto the floor in front of the toilet. When my caregiver removed the seat to clean it the first time I used it You can see urine was all around the bottom of the toilet raiser seat. and arm rest holes. If you turn it upside down you can see where the arm holes are and the arm adjustable pegs are. What a mess it was sorry for the graphic details, but thats the only way I can explain what I mean. I noticed someone mentioned a little step stool for shorter people I am 5 foot and maybe the problem stems from my feet not touching the ground. I wonder if this is causing a positional issue. I have MS and rely on such a product for my independence. I am not mobile at all so this solution would have never occurred to me. I will absolutely try a foot stool to rest my feet on.. I don't want to take any stars away because the product is well made with sturdy hand grips hand grips. I hope the foot stool fixes this problem. I hate the plane old seat riser that replaced this nicer and more suitable one. I sure hope the stepping stool fixes my problem.

Seat fine
Works as described. Removed seat cover for best fit.

Smaller than represented.
In spite of the listing on Amazon, this seat is NOT ELONGATED. The f-b length is a scant 16" vs the listed 18.5". The hole is 9" long which is bearly adequate. It is going to be messy to use and will need cleaning with each use. Not something I will be up for with a TKR. The height is pretty much as described and a good fit for 6'2"+ people. If you are shorter, get one with less rise. If I had the time before my surgery, I would return this based on dimensions alone. On the plus side - the product appears to be well-made and is easy to install (w or w/o handles).

que la vis avant pour fixer au bol de toilette se dévisse facilement ce qui rend le siège moins sécuritaire.
