How do I know when they are ripe?

To be honest I didn't know either so I went to YouTube and looked up how to tell if a Mangosteen is ripe and found some videos there. It also showed the best way to "open" them. Hope this helps.

Did they arrive in good quality condition, and weren't over ripe and or bruised?

I recently placed an order for this fruit and I was happy with the condition of the fruit I received. The package was 2 lbs and contained 9 pieces of fruit. One fruit was bruised and only a couple pieces were edible but considering this is FRUIT, I don't it was the fault of the sender. Fruit was not over ripe and I was happy with the overall condition of the fruit I received. (May 2018) Expensive but if I were order from this seller again.
