Coghlan's 5-In-1 Survival Aid

I find this to be a very useful product for a variety of purposes. It has a compass, whistle, nylon lanyard and small water tight storage compartment all in one compact item. I personally use the storage compartment to keep a few fishing lures and store this item in a Ziploc bag with a small roll of fishing line - which makes this an easy and convenient way to create an emergency fishing rod. Good versatile product at a fairly low price. Good value in my opinion.

Great price good quality except for the flint striker is very small in diameter and won't last long. The compass works and there is a neat little signal mirror inside the waterproof cap. Whistle is pretty loud but could be louder. Would buy again and recommend to others.

Well made. Covers the top five survival gadgets to signal for help, start fire, alarm and navigate all in a waterproof container with lanyard. For the price, I highly recommend having one in every emergency/bug-out bag even school backpacks.

This thing surprised me about how loud the whistle is. Overall, it is definitely worth the price.

Overall, this is a good value for what you get and a good addition to an emergency kit. The only thing that is a downside is the fact that my storm matches were too long to fit in the match case. Because the matches I purchased didn't fit, it would have been nice if some were included with this item.

Not worth Buying.

Well, don't think this is a survival kit. It ain't. What we have here is a match safe/case with a decent whistle (a good thing). The mirror is too small, and the flint is inadequate. The compass is OK as long as you understand it's hardly for orienteering.However, it goes around your neck, is lightweight, and it's something you won't feel silly carrying on a run along that well traveled trail you know so well.There are several versions of this thing, and this is one of the better ones.Stock it with some high quality matches (and a striker), carry a Swiss army knife and a tiny 1st aid kit, and you're fine if you're not really going in the wilderness.

Lo compre por precio jajaja, era el mas economico y con envio gratis con amazon prime.- Es bastante grande, si buscan algo pequeño no lo compren.- La brujula parece funcionar bien.- Espacio interior para cerillos y demas cosas que se les ocurran.- Es silabato de esos que traen una canica, asi que si lo guardan enfrente de la mochila de hidratacion parece sonaja.Es todo.

Good Product and a value deal.Features of product.1. Whistle is not very loud but fairly loud and am damn sure if one use it in forest, hills on the trek it can be heard from at least half a Kilometre.2. It has a small mirror in cap for signalling which could be used effectively if one put it in right angle to sun.3. Ferro road is pretty small and would require good deal of effort to lit a fire.4. Compass is needed liquid filled but can't say how long it will remain so.5. There is enough hollow space in it put a few storm match sticks, a couple of vaseline soaked cotton pieces or some tinder.I haven't yet used product over long term so would try to put views after using it in real world..Still great value for money spend. Mind you same product is also available at price of approx 2000 on this website itself.
