I'm usually willing to pay more for their products because of the quality and durability. I am cursed with oily skin and lots of sebaceous filaments that are usually easy for any other tweezer to grab. However, I was hoping that these Tweezerman blackhead tweezers would be more durable and better grip than the cheap skinny curved blackhead tweezers that always inevitably bend out of shape and loose their grip. The 2nd star is because this does feel durable and sturdy. However, it doesn't do anything it's supposed to.There are a lot of major design flaws with this tweezer:- The tip is too thick, blunt, and curved.- You can't see where you're tweezing.- You can't use the tip for fine work.- The contact area that grabs is surprisingly wide, almost wider than a regular tweezer.- The grip is poor, so even if you aim for an area with lots of filaments, it won't pull anything out.- Despite the blunt edge, the metal is surprisingly sharp, so if you try to use it to push the acne out, you have a high chance of bruising or scratching your skin.After I realized that this would not work for acne, I thought that maybe it could at least work for eyebrow hairs. Nope. The inaccuracy means that you risk plucking the wrong hairs, and the weak grip means that it's hard to pull out the right ones.
