2009-2013 Dodge Challenger/Charger Chrome T-Handle Shifter - Mopar OEM

Just installed this in my 2012 Challenger SRT8 and it looks awesome! Installation took all of 10 minutes with majority of time spent in carefully removing the stock knob. Was able to find video on YouTube on how to remove the original (just search Remove Dodge Challenger Shift Knob). The T-shifter feels and looks solid - very high quality. Just press the shifter down on the shaft all the way down (it will want to stop about 2/3 way down), and tighten the Allen screw with the proper size wrench so it's snug and flush with the body of the shifter. Shifter is fits slightly angled for a natural feel from the driver's side. It really looks great, and adds a terrific nostalgic early '70s muscle car vibe. Nice finishing touch to the Challenger cockpit!

I recently purchased the Mopar T-Handle Shifter for my Dodge Challenger and I love it. It is a super easy mod to do and it really accents the interior of the car nicely. All in all it took me less than 10min to remove the old shifter and to install the new one. It feels fantastic in your hand, almost like it should have come stock on the car. I would highly recommend this item for anyone who is tired of how their old shift looks and wants to spice up the inside of their ride a little. Once again, it is super easy to do. Just need a flat tip screw driver, a small allen key that should come with the shifter, 5-10 min, and done.

Nice way to replace the stock cheap-looking shifter. Only works on the 5-speed automatic transmissions (those with the electronic 8-speed transmissions or a manual transmission should look elsewhere). It is plastic, but it looks & feels metal-enough. It'll get warm in the sun or cold when it's freezing outside, but not to the extent that metal would. You'll want to wipe off hand/fingerprints every so often to keep the chrome looking handsome, but that's easily done with a towel (or even your hand itself). Honestly, it's how Dodge should've shipped the Chargers--there are other choices, but this would be appealing to most owners.

Shifter looks great. Easy install. I took a star for it not actually being chrome for the price. Other than that, it looks and functions fantastically.

It looks better than the stock, I wouldn't buy the expensive one from Mopar; just wasteful and pointless. The instructions say that you re-use the chrome lip/cover that was associated with the stock shifter. Although I find that it's easier Just to remove all the pieces associated with the Stock shifter altogether. When installing, if you push the T shifter all the way down on my vehicles shifter bar, it turns 25* degrees to the right. This wasn't going to work for me so I pulled it up slightly above the area where it was shifting & tightened. Looks good, doesn't rattle or shift. It is secure and solidly constructed. The finish is premier. I wish there wasn't a Mopar insignia/engraving. Was shipped fast and like I said before, the instructions aren't that great. Keep your stock shifter. Had it on for a week and got compliments already.

too much money for a piece of plastic, i thought it weas chrome, they dont tell you its just like there plastic rims

Really cheap plastic, but it works. I had bought a Mopar T handle for my 'cuda, years ago, and it was a nice brushed aluminum piece. This is priced high enough to be even better, but, really should be in the $20 range. Hopefully it lasts a while without the chrome flaking off.

This handle is absolutely terrific! I was worried that the completely chrome handle would be overkill, but it really does set off the interior of the already slightly-chromed accent of the Challenger. It was extremely easy to install, it's just slightly angled towards the driver for increased ease of use/functionality, it doesn't seem to pick up fingerprints too much (but it is chrome), and it looks amazing! Love it!
