Overall great socks, but had a couple end up with holes along the top.
These were a great fix for my son. He did not like the regular seam across his toes and itvwould drive him nuts. The first time he tried these socks he loved them.

My son still won't wear socks.
The socks are very thick and soft. I don't think my son likes how thick they are or the compression they give. They do not have a toe seem which is why I ordered them but they do still have the tiny ball on either side. They're well made good material and would likely work If your child just doesn't like the line in the socks. Apparently my kid doesn't like anything on his feet.
