Definitely having problems
I loaded this into my printer and just like everything else that you see on YouTube no problem at all. This is one of the original ones preferred by Cannon. After trying to use one that says it was compatible that did not work at all. Kept getting all different types of error messages if you need a printhead, save yourself the time and do not order a generic order the original one this works well. Had to send back due to alignment error loaded 2nd one same error however printe pattern works

OEM print head.
OEM head! As others stated, it also cleared my EC21-2F53 as well. I’ll update this review when it goes to say how long the print head lasts. I got 3 1/2 years out of my other print head. Jan 20th 2026 no issues yet.

Works perfectly
Sadly cant add a photo since the hardware is already in the Plotter (printer). Once the device was added it connected and updated with no issues. Super easy. Got here quickly. Overall, no issues.

Part not working
Never worked. Says its not compatible even though same looking as the original.

Avoid "compatable" brands
Good product, caution do not buy a knock-off this, it will cause you a large amount of wasted time. They do not work

Works Great!
Works great. Plugged into original printer with no problems. Quality of prints seems to be as good as the original OEM unit, at a much cheaper price.

Canon was out of stock. Glad I tried this one
The print head arrived fast, in original unopened OEM packaging. I had an error code EC21-2F53 on my TA-30 which said to replace the print head. I installed this new one and the code is gone and the printer is back to normal. I've only printed a few sheets so far, but expect it to last 3+ years like the original one did.
