Fairy Tales, Princesses, and Fables Coloring Book (Fantasy Coloring by Selina)

Another gorgeous coloring book by Selina! This book of fairy tales, princesses, and fables is outstandingly beautiful, creative, and detailed, perfectly capturing a wide variety of stories in its pages. Included are 25 scenes from popular tales such as Cinderella and Rapunzel as well as lesser known ones like Vasilisa the Wise and East of the Sun and West of the Moon, and every page has a brief summary of each fairy tale it depicts next to it, so that even if you are not familiar with the story you will still know what you are coloring. The single sided pages make it possible to color without worry of affecting a print on the opposite side, and just the same as her other books, you get two copies of each drawing, which is great if you want to try different color combinations or if you make a mistake. I am a big fan of Selina and have a few other coloring books by her. Comparing this lovely new one to the others I own, it is of the exact same quality. I use colored pencils in my books by Selina to bring her captivating artwork to life. Her art style is simply beautiful and I love how much detail there is in every scene, making it possible for a beginner artist like myself to learn, grow, and be guided. I spend so many hours meticulously coloring these books because i enjoy the peaceful concentration that creating art brings me. This book is an amazing addition to my growing collection of coloring books by Selina and makes me very happy. I highly recommend this book to anyone reading this.

I really enjoy this coloring book. It was after getting this book I got more into adult coloring. The images in this book are gorgeous! You get 25 unique images and the another set of the images, for a total of 50 images. I really like that you get two of each image so if you mess up you have another chance of coloring or you can change the colors you used. The pages are thin but since they are single sided, I don’t have a problem with using several different mediums. Such as colored pencils, markers, gel pens, etc. I’ve uploaded my first image I colored in this book as well as a few uncolored images in the book. Overall, the artwork in these books are beautiful and fun to color!

Beautiful images in this book. I normally don't like complicated images to color but these images are fun to color. They're not super complicated; mandalas are more complex. The images are beautiful regardless and I actually end up spending a few days on each image because they are so detailed, which makes the book last longer. I also love the fact that there are duplicates of each image. This allows me to recolor using different colors and also allows me to share my book with others without having to argue about what images to color. I really like that the book also includes the title and description of the fable I'm coloring. I actually hadn't heard of a lot of the fairytale in this book, which allowed me to discover interesting new fairytales I've never read. I always love reading new fairytales. Planning on buying more books from this artist. Attached are some of the completed pages I've done.

The illustrations are so pretty! I also love that she provides 2 copies of each image. I frequently have a "wish I had done" moments and to get to go back and redo it is actually a real pleasure. The only issue I had is that this is NOT alcohol issue friendly. Technically you can use them but the pages are so thin and porous that the ink is sucked up from the marker and spreads/bleeds through. It will suck the marker dry in no time. I also tried some ink pens and water color markers. These worked but do require a soft hand. Going over the colors multiple times will cause the page to pill (not unusual, just an FYI).

Really nice artwork. I use colored pencils but think markers or watercolors might be better. Beautiful pictures!

There are many points to make about Ms Selena coloring books. And I have eight so far.She is one of the few artist who includes men in the pictures. I do not understand a fantasy or real world without men (bad or good) in it I like her fantasy coloring books, but I also bought her Australian Animals, and they are exquisite. I do recommend you try at least one coloring book and soon. you too might want to get more.

I am so excited for my markers to arrive later today so that I can dive into my new adult coloring book! Aesthetically and on first impression, the cover is gorgeously illustrated and velvety smooth to the touch. The illustrated pages inside are of excellent quality. As for the paper stock, it is neither too heavy nor too thin. I am hopeful that my markers won’t bleed through the pages and feel confident that this will be mitigated by inserting a sheet of paper between the colouring pages. May my walk down childhood fairytale lane commence!

This book has beautifully and well drawn pictures from classic fairy tales. Fun putting my own spin on the stories in my color choices. The pictures are framed, which is nice, though I wish the frames were closer to the edge of the paper. This is my fourth or fifth adult coloring book, and in the things I've noted so far, it's the nicest. But my pens tend to bleed through this paper a little more than in the other books.

Ilustrações maravilhosas de contos fadas. Vou me divertir muito colorindo! Atenção: o papel é fino, feito para lápis de cor apenas, não se dá bem com canetinha/marcadores. No mais, livro excelente.

Alle afbeeldingen zijn twee keer afgedrukt in het boek. Het papier is niet zo goed maar omdat de afbeeldingen eenzijdig gedrukt zijn wel doenbaar. Verf of stiften zou ik hier niet in gebruiken

Encantadisima con estos dibujos para colorear! Voy a seguir comprando de esta autora porque la calidad del dibujo y es muy buena para su precio, a parte es difícil encontrar dibujos con este tipo de temáticas y tiene muchísima variedad, 10 de 10

Adoro questo libro di Selina Fenech! Ho già 3 libri di quest'artista e devo dire che sono uno più bello dell'altro! I disegni sono meravigliosi, il prezzo del libro è ottimo e la copertina ha una finitura che definirei "touch", molto piacevole al tatto. La carta è un po' sottile, quindi consiglio di mettere un foglio tra le pagine per evitare che i colori si trasferiscano al disegno sottostante. Il libro è sostanzialmente doppio, nel senso che le immagini vengono ripetute due volte, ma è proprio una volontà di Selina, in quanto vuole dare l'opportunità di poter rifare la colorazione nei casi di sbaglio, cambio colori, cambio mezzi utilizzati. Personalmente apprezzo molto questa caratteristica! Consigliatissimi i libri di questa artista!
