It would be all too easy to criticize this little device and - to be sure - there are plenty of things wrong with it... But the overriding plus points are: it's cheap to buy and it does work! The casing is very light injection-moulded plastic. The slots in this enclosure for the memory card and the USB connector don't really align correctly, and care is needed when using both. The memory card can easily drop down inside the casing, which then involves taking the whole thing apart to get the card back out. The whole process for copying audio files to the internal NVRAM is ridiculously complicated, and only works about 50% of the time. The enclosure is neither water nor dust proof. This is very much an indoors device. BUT... Once you finally get it set up and installed, it is actually quite good. The PIR sensor has adequate range and a wide pickup angle. And although the internal speaker is tiny, it can produce decent sound quality and sufficient volume. There are other devices which do the same job and do not have any of these problems - but they cost ten times as much. So I CAN recommend it at this price point.

On opening the package the item appeared to be of low quality, I paid a premium for this item as I needed it quickly I could have waited to get one from china for a third of the price but I needed it urgently. It was complicated to get the message on a SIM card more down to my computer than the device, one installed it worked perfectly for around two weeks, great buy I thought! then it malfunctioned. When turned on it plays the message continuously even when no one is in the room. Tried to contact seller but I was diverted to contact amazon via chat, I'm still waiting for a response. I need a replacement or a refund but how to I get one if I can't contact anyone?

reasonable price, poor quality

It does what it says on the box. However it is small and using the micro SD card is a little awkward to take out to load the sound files. It's range is limited and in my opinion matches it's sound range. A little pricey too for what it is, a novelty sound item. All that being said, it has worked for what I needed it to do. But the price is a little high in the long run

The infrared motion sound sensor speaker is made well and works fine, comes with SD card. It's very easy to install. With 360° degree rotatable bracket, you can adjust the angle up and down. For my opinion the price is too high

Ich habe dieses Produkt für Halloween bestellt. Habe eine Audio-Datei mit einem schrillen Lachen raufgespielt und es hat super funktioniert. Das Teil wurde im Eingangsbereich auf ca 1,5 Meter Höhe angebracht und jedes Mal, wenn jemand vorbei gegangen ist, wurde die Audio-Datei abgespielt. Es gab viele Schreckmomente :-) Super Lautstärke, im Freien gut einsetzbar. Die Anleitung ist auf Englisch, kann man aber gut übersetzen und dann funktioniert das gut. SD Karte ist inklusive, steckt schon im Gerät.

Ich habe das Teil mal ausführlich technisch getestet. Power hat das Teil. Auf der bei mir mitgelieferten 128 MB Speicherkarte passen 20-30 MP3 Audio Dateien drauf. Es gibt 2 Lautstärkestufen - mittellaut und laut. Je nachdem zu welchem Zweck man das Gerät einsetzt könnte es von der Grundeinstellung zu laut sein. Ein etwas leiserer dritter Modus wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Wer pfiffig ist kann einfach die Lautstärke der Audiodateien vor dem Aufspielen auf das Gerät selber z.B. am Computer oder am Handy mittels Software reduzieren. So kann man sich die Lautstärke die man exakt haben möchte selber anpassen. Ich habe die Tonqualität ausführlich getestet - An sich ist ein gutes Soundmodul in dem Gerät verbaut. Der eingebaute Lautsprächer tut das was er kann auf der mittleren Lautstärkestufe. Was raus kommt ist klar und verständlich. Auf der lauten Lautstärkestufe neigt der Lautsprecher zum übersteuern - es kommt aber auch darauf an welche Audiodatei abgespielt wird. Ein Faktor der die Performance des Gerätes beeinflusst ist bei USB Betrieb das Netzteil welches man verwendet. Ich habe zuerst ein 5 Volt 500 mA Netzteil verwendet was für die Mittlere Lautstärkestufe ausreichend war. Die Laute Lautstärkestufe neigte mehr zum rauschen, da habe ich ein 1000 mA Netzteil genommen und die Performance hat sich deutlich verbessert. An sich ist der Sound den das Gerät erzeugen kann wirklich gut ! Der kleine Lautsprecher ist wohl mehr dafür gedacht Sprache wiederzugeben oder z.B. klassische Musik. Ich habe mal experimentiert und die Lautsprecherkabel umgelötetauf 2 Sony Boxen (zusammen 8 Ohm) und bei der mittleren Lautstärkestufe ist es nun so laut als ob man gerade am Pc mit seinen Boxen auf Normallautstärke Musik hört. Bei der lauten Lautstärkestufe klingen die Sony boxen aber wieder etwas verrauscht. Die Qualität des eingebauten Sound Moduls ist wirklich sehr gut auf der mittleren Stufe. Also das kleine Gerät bringt Sony Boxen zum Knallen mit Bass! :D Ich benutze das Gerät zur Zeit als Musikplayer wenn ich in mein tropisch eingerichtetes Badezimmer gehe. Für mystische Klänge und Sprache ist das Gerät so ausreichend. Wer weiß wie man was selber macht kann einiges noch aus dem Gerät rausholen
