I picked up the HolsterBuilder IWB Soft Holster Belt Loops to use with a knife sheath, and they worked out better than I expected. I mounted my knife horizontally on my belt, and these loops keep it secure and right where I want it. The setup was easy, and the included hardware made the install quick. Once it’s on, it doesn’t shift or loosen, even when I’m moving around a lot. The material feels tough but flexible enough to stay comfortable all day. Honestly, I bought these with holsters in mind but ended up loving them for knife carry. If you’re looking for a low-profile, rock-solid belt loop solution, these are well worth it.

There's not a lot to say about these, other than if you are seeking them out you know how important they are. These use DOT snaps, which have to be pulled a certain way to release. They are difficult to un-snap, by design. Pros: • Allows some flexibility at the mid-line, because the loops themselves have some play • Very difficult for someone else to snatch your gear Cons: • If you repeatedly have to take equipment on and off during the work day it can be frustrating removing and reseating the snaps, especially if you can't see them because of other bulky gear • If you need something to be able to break-away if snagged or yanked, these are not what you want I had to deal with customer service, and they are indeed a USA-based company and stand behind their product. This is so rare nowadays, that I can unequivocally recommend them.

These are basic. I like basic, less junk to go wrong. I wanted to move a knife from a vertical mount to horizontal. These straps worked quite well for this application. The snaps make for easy on/off. I have been using these for several days and have yet to have a snap pop loose. I would like to see the manufacturer extend the adjustment holes another inch to make them a bit more versatile. That is why I gave them 4 stars. I have a second set I will try with a (much) heavier knife and report on it later.

Great belt attachment for a knife. Bought two, had no trouble with attaching to the knife sheath. Great value. Built well. Snaps are a little tuff at first. Good design.

This is going to sound crazy, but all of the people who gave these a negative review because the snaps are too hard to open and close don't know how to operate the snaps. I never thought I would say that someone didn't know how to open and close a snap, but I guess that is the truth. These are very easy to open and close if you follow the instructions literally stamped on the snap itself. It says "pull the dot" which is what you do to open the snap. To open, lever the side of the snap with the dot up while leaving the opposite side of the snap down. This lever method permits the snap to open with little efforts. Reverse this process to close the snap where you stick the side without the dot down first and then lever the side of the snap with the dot down. Opening and closing this way takes very little effort, see my pictures and video for a demonstration. The brilliance of this design is that the snap will not open if you just pull on it making it very secure unlike "regular" snaps that just pop open when you pull. Regarding the straps, they are a plastic covered nylon that will not absorb sweat or water and seem to be very durable. Overall a fantastic product, highly recommended and a great solution for securely attaching my knife to my belt.

They are good for what they are, just didn't work well for what I needed.

Just know these only come with one size screw and they’re very short. They wouldn’t fit through my Esee Izula 2 sheath. Gonna try to find longer screws that work, but I feel like it would make a lot of sense for this company to send a variety of sizes for different sheaths/ holsters.

I could never find a comfortable belt mounting option for my Benchmade Steep County, due to it's oddly shaped sheath. I actually thought I was going to have to buy a pricey custom sheath, but I found these loops and they work great. They have just the right amount of flex, the size is perfect, and the snaps are really secure. I have a couple of other knives with similar sheath issues so I will be ordering more.
