Where can I get the napkins for this dispenser - they don't need to have coke on them; plain napkins are fine but I can't find the right size .

2nd answer - you want to look for "Tall Fold" dispenser napkins. If the link works correctly, you can view some here: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/tall-fold-dispenser-napkin-500-pack/9993052B.html - keep in mind, this is just an example and there are many quality choices to choose from.

Could i get away with folding regular square napkins and putting them in here?

I would suggest either getting some of the restaurant style or Coca Cola ones that are designed for this dispensor. They are a heavier style than the standard square napkins.

How do I open the dispenser to load it?

It doesn't open but is easy to load. Simply press down on the center panel and push in a stack of napkins. It just like the old fashioned diner style from years ago.

What type size of napkins to fill?
