Norpro, Black My Favorite Spatula with Holes

Love this smaller and straight/narrower than normal edge spatula. I hate huge spatulas that leave you with a 4 inch by 4 inch brownie. This cuts the perfect little square and can get into the little spaces. My hubby knows this is my favorite and teases me about it, but I am not ashamed. It is a good little cooking implement.

I had one of these spatulas for years and years. When it cracked, I was heartbroken and I have looked for one every since this is the exact same one and I love it. There is something about the slimness and Long of it. That seems to work really great for me.

I thought I would hate these because they are on the smaller side, but I love them.

Belive it or not I am using this as a mixer for my 24 year old blind Yorky's special diet and it works rightnin the can. No more mixers and messy bowls. It liquifys the food easily with the shaep wdges and the holes a nd is just the rigt size to fit to the sides of the can.

I liked the two I had so much, I bought three more of these spatulas. The news ones had one issue that proved to be a nightmare. A big sticker was glued to the back. I couldn't get it off. Finally soaked it for three days and was able to scrub it off, although it still tended to stick in the holes. Even after that, I couldn't get all the glue off. When I rub my thumb across the back I can feel it and that's a gross thought.

It's... usable. The business end is rather thick, but the holes (especially on the bottom side) need some serious deburring, because the leftover flashing is a food magnet that makes it hard to clean. I just wanted a cheap spatula to use with a cast-iron skillet, and, well, I got the cheap part. It... works. But I'm not overly fond of it, honestly. It's unwieldy for delicate foods like eggs, I don't think I'd dare try it with pancakes, but it might work okay for burgers.
