Perfect fit with old Nokia power cable

Very thin

Very thin wire , connector fits , but is a bit long . My 6700 has been on charge over 2hrs . There’s hardly any power travelling through it .

There is nothing wrong with the product other than it does not fit the Nokia 3109 as the pin is too long but cheap enough to just keep. I already have a 3109 with charger this was for my sister who like me is aged but found she was able to use my phone.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I hoped it would work, it didn’t.

I gave the original (Nokia) charger to someone who needed it and bought this product as replacement. Mechanically, the connection is unreliable: if you waggle the plug slightly then it connects and disconnects. The Nokia charger did not have this problem. Electrically, the cable has too high a resistance to convince the phone that a charger is connected. I could make it work only by removing the middle part of the cable and soldering the plugs closer together (see photo).

Très pratique pour charger mon vieux nokia dans la voiture et au bureau, sans chargeur. A l'air de bonne qualité. Un peu cher mais difficile à trouver.

Seit langem ist mir mein altes Nokia-Telefon ein treuer Begleiter. Ich habe zwar auch ein Smartphone, doch das ist mir für unterwegs zu unpraktisch, da ich nicht jedes Mal die Lesebrille rauskramen will, um es zu benutzen. Fürs Hotelzimmer auf Reisen ist es mir aber eine willkommene Informationsquelle, um Öffnungszeiten, eine Adresse, eine Zugverbindung oder den Wetterbericht zu bekommen. Doch zum Telefonieren ist mir das kleine, unkomplizierte Immer-dabei-Nokia allemal lieber als der Smart-Klotz. Dumm nur, daß das Nokia ein eigenes Ladegerät mit eigenem Anschluß hat und sich nicht über USB laden läßt. So sind immer zwei Ladegeräte im Gepäck - und immer die Hoffnung, daß das Nokia-Ladegerät unterwegs nicht verloren oder kaputt geht. Eher zufällig fand ich dieses USB-Nokia-Kabel. Genial: Nun läßt sich auch das Nokia mit dem USB-Ladegerät laden, und das Original-Ladegerät kann zu Hause bleiben. Plötzlich ist alles ganz einfach. Warum habe ich das nicht schon früher entdeckt? Aufpassen beim Kauf: Unterschiedliche Nokia-Geräte haben unterschiedliche Anschlüsse. Da ich nicht mehr weiß, wie mein Nokia-Modell heißt (es steht nicht drauf), habe ich den Anschlußstift nachgemessen und entsprechend das Kabel mit dem dünneren 2-mm-Stift gewählt - hat gepaßt. Das Ladekabel kann übrigens deshalb problemlos funktionieren, weil auch das Nokia-Ladegerät 5 Volt liefert - genau wie ein USB-Ladegerät. Daten kann das Kabel nicht übertragen, das gibt der Nokia-Anschluß nicht her.
