Can I where these with no pad while I am on my monthly period? Or are they just for general leakage?

They are perfect for periods & those little dribbles. I am way under 30 & love am. Way more comfortable than pads!!!

How would these work in place of Good Nights for a child who has sized out?

Both my girls have needed these, they have fit in them from size 7 to 14, both wearing size s/m as they outgrew the kids overnights also. My 14 yr old has health problems where she needs these at night time still and at 140 lbs she is just saying these are getting snug and needs a bigger size. I've used these and Amazon brand. I buy whatever I get at a better rate and doing subscribe and save helps also. They should work for your child. I'd recommend buying a small quantity package and trying them to see. It's actually been cheaper to switch to these I think than pull ups.
