Worked perfectly.
Love these aging sticks. Easy to use, fit most bottle necks and provide great flavor.

Great for bottle aging any spirit!
These are great for bottle aging your bourbon or making a home finished version. I also buy the 4 pack as I use these quite often. Great price and quality!

I'm a few days away from the 2 week point when I'm going to open it up to drink but so far I've been happy with this purchase
I used this to age a 1.5L batch of bourbon Old Fashioneds. Within a day the color of drink had darkened considerably and a week later the taste had changed quite a bit. I'm a few days away from the 2 week point when I'm going to open it up to drink but so far I've been happy with this purchase.

Easy aged rum
Works like it sais. I dropped it in a decent bottle of light rum and now three months later it tastes aged and relatively smooth. Im going to let it sit a bit linger before straining it but generally im very happy with the outcome.

Meh.
We put this in bottom shelf bourbon. Had 4 men blindly test taste it after 2 weeks of sitting. 3 of 4 preferred the bourbon that had the spiral. However, I could have just saved the trouble and bought a better bourbon and not had to wait 2 weeks before drinking it. So... I guess... this product is just okay. Maybe if it were way cheaper, it would be worth it.

Smaller than you expect
Smaller than indicated. Only 2 in long. Photos make it seem much bigger. In the dimensions it lists Qty 1. Again misleading

Perfect and practical!
Purchased those Oak Infusion Spirals to age whiskies and bourbons. Worked very well and delivered to expectations (of being infused in bottle...). Would definitely recommend them especially for people who like to experiment or can't afford wooden barrel at home.

Time in the bottle doesn't really matter
I tried it in a bottle of 1800 silver tequila. The tequila still had a bite to it after two weeks. It was slightly darker than a reposado. I did comparisons with 3 other reposados I had. It needs more time in the bottle. I may cross cut a few pieces of oak for shorter capillaries and drop a few pieces in. It may take care of the bite. 4 week up date. No change in color or taste in the past two weeks. It still has the bite of 1800 Silver. It is no where near as smooth as 1800 Reposado. This is not something I would buy again. I will let it sit and check again in early January. Last week of April, 6 months in the bottle and it looks great. Still no difference in taste or bite. The 1800 Reposado or 1800 Anejo for a few dollars more is a better buy than using an Oak infuser. Nine months and still no difference. I'm going to filter out the charcoal and rinse the bottle out. The 1800 Silver tequila is still good to mix with. I just wouldn't pore it on ice and sip it like Partron.
