Ordered this after seeing a dermatologist rave about this product! I’ve tried other (much more expensive vitamin C serums) and I can tell you this works as good if not better than those! I apply two small pumps in the morning to my face, it is quick drying and absorbs easily and then I top with a moisturizer and sunscreen. I can already tell a difference after 2 months! My skin definitely has more of a glow and it has evened out my skin texture! I have very sensitive skin and this product has not caused me any irritation. If you are looking for a strong, effective vitamin C serum at an affordable price this is it!!!

I have been using the timeless vitamin C for five years now. This should be a staple in every persons anti-aging daily skin care program. Timeless combines 3 key ingredients;L-Ascorbic Acid, Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E for brightening, evening out the skin and collagen boosting to help diminish fine lines. Due to this being a 20% vitamin C, it may not be a great choice for sensitive skin. But if your skin can tolerate it, this serum is one of the best quality and effective vitamin C products on the market, especially for the price point. When I began using vitamin C, I made sure to try a test spot to see how my skin would react. Then I applied every other day, in the morning after washing my face, allowing my skin to adjust. One pump measures out the proper amount of application to the face. Don’t stop there. I use it on my neck, chest and backs of hands where it can help fade those pesky sun/age spots. After consistent use, my skin noticeably improved.

My dermatologist suggested using four or five products, either in the morning or evening, to help reduce dark spots caused by aging and sun damage from my teens, twenties, and thirties. The vitamin C serum "Timeless" appears to be particularly effective at fading these spots. I've noticed a decrease in their darkness within just a week. I recommend this product, but it's a good idea to check online or consult your doctor for proper application instructions. The plastic cap on the glass bottle, however, doesn't fit well, it snaps on but with a very weak "grab," can easily come off. I experienced this firsthand when I was shaking the bottle to mix its ingredients, and holding mostly the cap, the glass bottle slipped out of my hand and shattered in the sink. The company should consider a screw-on or more secure SNAP-ON design cap, as shaking to mix bottle's contents is common. When I contacted Amazon and explained the issue, a helpful assistant listened carefully, asked for a photo of the broken bottle I had already taken, and a new one arrived in just 1 hour and 10 minutes. I am very impressed and grateful... thanks, Amazon.

It's a nice serum, though unlike the other brands i've tried i can feel more of the residual residue of the product on my skin when I use this at night. I try to only use a pea size but yes still feel it. Fortunately there's no fragrance, but if you want something that feels like it went away after application this might not be it. It might just be me how i'm applying I will fully admit as i'm inexperienced but if you're also in that same boat and that might bother you, you might want to check around a bit or find smaller sampler bottles

(update Sept 2015: continue to use this and have tried competitor products, it works and I am quite old! but skin looking good!) Reputable dermatologists say there are only a few active ingredients out there that are proven to do anything beneficial for the skin besides moisturize it (which Crisco or vaseline could do too!) , no matter what hype the cosmetic companies put out. One of those is vitamin C. (Caution: don't use a Vit C product at the same time as Retinols (Retin A or OTC Retinol products like Roc etc), or Glycolic acids, or beta acids (salicylic etc). Use the Vit C in the a.m. and the others in the PM, sometimes even that will be too irritating for some skins. At the least put a few hours between applications of acidic products!). I heard about this product first on a skin care forum I belong to, as I am a sort of hobby aesthetician and makeup artist and always looking for something to help my own aging skin. I use a derma roller (many brands and most are about the same, needle size is the key difference), and this product used in concert with it really has helped stimulate collagen (the disappearance which is what causes skin to look 'aged' , when the padding beneath the surface begins to degrade and so the skin hangs like an empty balloon). I have been using it off and on for several months, and also got some for sisters and friends. In everyone's case I have seen an improvement in skin tone, and definitely a subtle 'plumping' effect. It's not a miraculous overnight remedy, (nothing like that exists in a bottle!), but it does help over time, and you'll see some difference within a couple weeks. Also important is that the manufacturer is using a DARK glass bottle. First because Vitamin C breaks down with exposure to light, and also because if it were plastic container, the acidity would cause some leaching of plastic byproducts into the gel. The viscous feeling of this product is due to the hyaluronic acid in it. Hyaluronic acid is the same substance (but in sterile form and at a different molecular density), that is in fillers like restylane, and that also occurs naturally in the human body. It can't really penetrate below the dermis, but with the derma rolling process, I believe a little of it can make its way in, and that it aids in plumping effect. A great value and reputable supplier. The reality is these active ingredients wholesale at a minimal cost, and the big brand names are marking them up by ridiculous amounts and creating elaborate marketing campaigns and photoshopped images of 22 year old models, and many consumers fall for the hype and believe the cost is justified; and while this product isn't 'cheap', it is moderately priced compared to department store brands, and it lasts a good while as you only need a few drops each time. I also have recommended for those starting a skin improvement regimen to take a few good before and after pictures (spaced a few months apart at least, then periodically) or have a friend do so. Then you can apply 'high def' photographic effects to the before and afters shots, which will reveal the damaged skin that the naked eye can't detect, and subsequent improvement (or lack thereof!), in great (often disturbing! detail). (There are free programs online that can do this(ipiccy is one), or if you use photoshop etc, that allow you to increase detail in your skin - usually called something like 'high def', 'gritty' etc). Department store makeup counters used to have these boxes with special lights and mirror that you'd put your face in and would reveal the sun damage that is not apparent to the naked eye - using as a selling tool-- this HDR effect does the same basic thing - reveal what the naked eye can't see but which IS there! The proof was there for me that my skin was looking better, less damaged. In my case the derma roller was part of it, but this product was also key. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, effective vitamin C that actually delivers results, this one has earned its permanent spot in my routine.

So I bought this at the suggestion of many different YT and IG MD's I follow. This was suggested as a dupe of Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic and I can say that this has none of the elegance that the SC formula has. It is very thin and liquid in consistency. The formula also doesn't feel homogonous as it feels like the serum has some parts that are super watery and some parts that are slightly thicker. The biggest turn off for me happens to be the smell. It truly smells like hot dogs so if you are okay with putting hot dog water on your face, you might be okay with this product. For me, I didn't enjoy using it, as it felt (and smelled) like a cheaper product and there are better C E Ferulic dupes out there. So for me, this was a pass and not something I will re-order.

This serum has the same active ingredients as a much more pricey vitamin c serum at a fraction of the cost. I’m never sure if any face products are making a difference but my skin does look more even as I’ve been using this product. Some vitamin C serums sting a bit, this one does not and I have sensitive skin. However, this solution smells horrible. I’ve used it long enough that I don’t notice but initially I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to take the smell. Also, the product comes in a glass bottle which is nice but the pump is tricky. It works fine but because the solution is very liquid (same consistency as water), it’s hard to get your hand under the pump to catch the liquid as it comes out. Since it seems to work and the price is reasonable, I will probably repurchase this serum. The smell and pump are both tolerable.

This is by far the best VIT C serum I have purchased yet. The feel on the skin is superb. I put some in a smaller bottle with a dropper cap and stored the larger Timeless bottle in the frig. When I am empty, I will put some more into the small bottle again. This keeps the Vit C serum preserved and fresher. Since I have been using Vit C my skin has become significantly better all around.

It's a winner

This is excellent product and great packaging. The liquid is intact and no oxidation like other similar products. Airlock tip and pump mechanism are the reason why the liquid inside is very well protected.
