I underestimated this Massage Ball, and they made me pay for it—in the best way possible. This orb may look innocent, but it's a deep tissue overachiever. I think I’ve ordered 6 of these by now. As gifts, or extra to keep in my travel bag. These balls are amazing, very good at point massage, love massaging my lower back and base of my neck with it. It’ll definitely get where you want it to. Not much can be better than this tool.

Love it! Before this, I would use tennis balls, but eventually they all split from the pressure I used. This is perfect for my painful muscle knots. It works better for me than the $30 rechargeable hook type back massager I already have & no charging required!

Overall this product is great and serves its purpose, however the shape eventually becomes wobbly, possibly due to the type of foam used. If this would concern you, it may advisable to seek a product made of something sturdier that specifically says it will not lose its shape. Nevertheless I continue to use this daily and do not have issues with it.

My wife purchased this after doing a little research. We have a foam roller log that has seen a lot of use over the years, and several tennis balls that were never purchased for the courts, so we are already big fans of soft tissue work (massage). This was a great addition to our collection, and had we bought this first I think we could have skipped some of the other items. Size wise, this Orb fits right in between a foam roller and a tennis ball...best of both worlds. It's big enough that you really can roll on it, which can be uncomfortable to impossible on a smaller ball because the contact point is too small which can be unpleasant. It is maneuverable enough that you can still target problem spots effectively, which can be difficult on a log. The foam is sufficiently stiff to get at deep muscle issues, but gives enough so it's comfortable to put your full weight into (I am a 200lb guy, for comparison). In addition, this is easily believable as a travel companion where logs and sticks aren't always convenient. Great tool for athletes or anyone who needs to work out muscle tightness/soreness. Can't see a downside to the product after several uses. As with any foam product it won't last forever, but this looks to be quality foam and should hold up as well as any similar products.

Foam rolling is great and has really loosened up some tight spots on me, but upgrading from a normal roller to this ball for specific areas like the glutes has really taken it up a step. Sometimes it's the good hurt (never pain though don't do too much) that you need to get blood moving and recovery happening after a leg day or long run.

I tried this out at my PT's office and loved the intensity of the relief it gave me. I've had a lot of painful muscle tightness and knots in my back and glutes after a power lifting injury and deep muscle work is the only thing that brings me relief in my recovery, and this ball was perfect. It's certainly painful, but it helped me so much with muscle relief! I also like that it gives me control to massage a specific area rather than relying on trying to communicate it to a person to try to massage a knot for me. If you use this for deep tissue work, just try to relax and take deep breaths!
