Favorite mix
Ordering more as we speak. Flavour is great. Despite what others have said the texture is perfect, its all down to the meat you use. I use about 80% beef, 20% pork. Each with a fat content around 15%. Nice and firm I need a bigger bag next time to make more!

Delicious
My friend and I are going to Cambodia for two months - we thought we could maybe make our own Scottish slice sausage while we are there as we missed it on our last trip. I tried a recipe online which was ok but not proper slice. Bought this seasoning packet the other day and I made the sausage yesterday. I bought a 750g pack of ready mixed pork and beef mince from Asda (I followed a suggestion by another reviewer who reduced the meat content to 750g). Mixed it all together (also reduced the iced water to 75g). Pressed into a regular bread tin lined with cling film and put in fridge for 24 hours. Just had a roll and sausage this morning and oh my the sausage was delicious. Very happy and will be buying the larger packet to take with us on our hols.

Good value for money
I bought this to make my own square lorne sausage . Only issue was the amount you use, as advised on the packaging, was not enough . Next time I will add at least 50 grammes more.

Taste but not texture
It will make something that resembles a Lorne flavoured beef burger I think to get the texture right you'd need extra rusk to firm it up and give it the texture you expect from Lorne sausages

Good product
My first attempt at making Lorna sausage meat and I enjoyed the end product. However, I am going to experiment some more to perfect my own recipe and version.

Bang on the money! After living in Australia for years I’ve gotta say this is probably the best Lorne sausage I’ve had since I’ve been here, simple clear instructions & tastes like it’s straight from back the road. Definitely recommend!
