Extremely good sturdy and practical! I would 100% recommend!

Perfect solution for raising a laptop up from the desk, whether it's to get the laptop to eye level, or to meet the height of an external monitor for an extended display. This is a nice and sturdy option, less on the portable side, yet perfect for a permanent addition to your desk. It can be seperated up into 3 pieces (which is how it arrives) for moving around, yet it wouldn't be too convinient to constantly move around, despite it being relatively lightweight. I am using this with my Macbook Pro 13", which it fits very nicely with, yet I could see this stand being used for other laptop sizes ( bigger and smaller). No flaws with this product upon arrival and it fits together very easily in 1 step. This stand feels very premium due to the metal build. The grey colour matches relatively nicely to my space grey Macbook. Not a perfect match but not far off. There are rubber pads at the point of contact to the laptop to keep the metal of the stand from scratching the metal of my laptop, as well as offering grip to keep the laptop in place. This product also great for airflow to the bottom of my laptop, keeping it cool under heavy tasks, putting less strain on the cooling fans. External mouse and keyboard along with a monitor works great with this, giving it a desktop feel with the laptop acting as an additional display.

Easy to slot together and well made, this does almost what you want, except it's quite bouncy - ie the top arms will move quite springily as you type on a laptop resting on them. It has quite a bit of 'twang' to the movement as the top arms are basically unsupported unlike some other stands that have more struts, however I wanted a stand I could easily dis-assemble and this does the trick. The bottom is rock solid and the rubber grips on the top arms work ok. All in all it does what I want but with more springiness, thought it was worth commenting on!

Easy to assemble and the perfect height.

This laptop stand is pretty good for 15inch laptops that aren't that heavy. The rubber pads are excellent the rise in height while not adjustable well-chosen. It's nice looking and does the job but there are a few points of worry, including a few that may affect for the longevity of the product: * Edges are rough. Yes, your hand will not rest on them but still, takes away from the overall impression of the product. * The whole thing is wobbly. If you have pets/young children pushing it or messing around, go for something else. Also, I wouldn't trust it with larger 17-inch laptops. * The detachable mechanism means that inherently there's a portion of thinner metal at the base. It probably won't bend in the near future but with a heavier laptop longevity might be an issue. * The arms look nice but they may slowly bend with heavier laptops, due to the very nature of the design. TBH I'd like to have thought of this before I ordered it. Now the above are a bit of nit-picking. For a 15-inch laptop the stand works very well, the pads are grippy which is of importance to me and while a bit wobbly and with rough edges, I don't really touch it. I'll be changing my laptop soon for a gaming/heavier one soon and I'll update if the difference in weight will create any problems (decreasing the score from the current 4/5). If not, then my fears will have been alleviated and I'll increase the score instead.

Keeps my work laptop at eye level and cool.

Working at home and needed something to raise my laptop to a better working height. This stand lifts the screen up by 15cm which was pretty much perfect for me. It feels very sturdy and was easy to put together (it came in three pieces) and shows no sign of wanting to come apart at all. I like that the laptop rests on two props rather than a flat surface which allows for a little more air flow around it which is good for preventing overheating. The surface that the laptop sits on is padded by rubbery pads which are great for preventing scratches and stopping the laptop slipping, the bottom of the stand is similarly padded to prevent scratching the table. I mainly use at my desk but have also used to stand my laptop on my bed (where it would otherwise overheat horribly from resting on the soft surface) and it is equally sturdy here. I also like that the space underneath the laptop is unobstructed as I can store my keyboard here when not in use for a bit more desk space. It is not the most lightweight you could probably find but I think this is an acceptable compromise for being solid. If you press on the very end of the arms that hold the laptop it will move a tiny but down (maybe 5mm) and if you were typing on they built in laptop keyboard this would be noticeable (though there is no movement from just pressing keys -it is the weight of your arms that makes it lower a little) but I imaging most people wanting this would have a keyboard as it's a bit high to be typing on the keyboard otherwise.
