Blown away by what a simple product can do for Apple Airpods or earbuds
I purchased a similar type of product last year, with OK results, but thought I would give EarBuddyz a try. I was really impressed by how much they do to improve Apple Airpods and earbuds for such a low cost. In short, they: * Significantly improve the bass sound * Fit my ear perfectly so they now don't fall out, yet are super comfortable * Reduce external noise just enough They do these three things in very clever but cost-effective ways. The bass improvement comes simply from providing a chamber where the sound exits the earbud, which causes the bass sound to be enhanced. I don't think this actually requires a louder volume to achieve the effect - I find myself listening at *lower* volumes than before. The fit is achieved by having a really soft "wing" and a soft bulb that inserts slightly and gently into the ear canal opening. The latter feature is also what reduces external sound a bit, but it doesn't block all external sound, which I prefer. I ride a bike, and want to be able to hear some noise around me. I do NOT like the earbuds that are fully inserted into the ear canal and block most sound, as they are uncomfortable and dangerous (on a bike). These do not do that, yet achieve much of the same benefit. In short, for the price, these EarBuddyz are a great modification to the Apple Airpods or wired earbuds. One drawback: Once on the Airpods, you cannot insert them into the charging case without removing them, so you will find yourself taking them on and off. This is a flaw in Apple's design, in my view, so I would not fault EarBuddyz for this inconvenience.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I have been researching bluetooth headphones for months. I tried out Jaybirds and some other 'wireless' headphones, but even the wires behind my head were cumbersome and pulled the earbuds out of my ears when running, wearing hoodies, etc. I had shied away from AirPods as I was really worried about them falling out when running, etc., as the normal Apple EarPods seem to do that quite often when I am wearing and doing other activities. But after my trial of other 'wireless' headphones failed, I decided to try the AirPods on at the Apple Store as I started to see LOTS of people at the gym with them. I was surprised how good they stayed in and sounded at the Apple Store, so decided to try them. BUT, I still wanted some sort of attachment to hook them in my ears for added security and comfort. I did some research and saw these EarBuddyz were highly rated and talked about, and they looked exactly like what I was thinking about. I bought the EarBuddyz Ultras and they are GREAT! These coupled with the AirPods is EXACTLY the wireless experience I was looking for! Wore them at the gym today for the first time and felt like nothing was in my ears except awesome sound quality, fit, and comfort. I will be buying some of the non-Ultras for work around home to make sure I always have enough in stock! These are a great, simple product that serve a specific function ... they are comfortable, lightweight, and so far durable. Keep up the great work!

The almost perfect solution to EarPods/AirPods falling out of my ears
Okay, I'll admit it. I love these things. They have transformed my experience with, and opinion of the EarPods and I actively hunting a pair of AirPods now thanks to the EarBuddyz Ultra Ear Hooks. My opinion of EarPods prior to the EarBuddyz Ultra Ear Hooks was not very high. The didn't fit well, always flopping out of my ears, and the sounded even worse. I hated them. Tinny, no bass, just complete garbage sound. Then I slipped a pair of the Ultra Ear Hooks on them and WOW! What a difference! These things sound great! Crisp highs, bass I didn't know they had and, they stay securely in my ears now. Are they perfect? Not for my ears and their big ear holes. The buds are what they are listed as, medium. I need large buds. But, these things have transformed my experience with, and opinion of my EarPods and Apple has EarBuddyz to thank for another customer purchasing a pair of AIrPods in the very near future. Something I never would have considered without these things. A couple of final thoughts. Noise Cancelation - these don't do anything in regards to noise cancelation. They secure the EarPods/Airpods in your ears and direct the sound into your ears. And they do a phenomenal job doing what they're designed to do. Noise Isolation - If I had smaller ear holes, they would probably do a much better job. As I mentioned, I need large earbuds for proper noise isolation. For me, they don't isolate very well. If you use small or medium earbuds normally, they will likely do a fantastic job for you. Even though they aren't perfect, would I recommend them? You bet. Get yourself a pair of these things. You won't regret it. And EarBuddyz! You need to release Ultra Ear Hooks with LARGE buds. Those I'm sure would get a 5-star review from me.

Great for small ears
I finally got some AirPods to use while walking/exercising/working (mostly working) and planned to use them for long stretches of time. I have smaller ears, so I was already kind of worried about this, but initially I thought I was golden with just the pods themselves. After about a week of wearing them pretty consistently, I had cuts in my ears from the hard seam on the top of the pods and had to stop wearing them to let my ears hear. I started poking around Amazon and found these guys. I bought them and I LOVE them! They fit in my ears really well, and I really like the added security of having the little hook that nestles into the top part of your ear. I've never had a lot of luck with the ones that go behind your ear, so I was hoping these would solve that problem too, which they did! For anyone wondering if they are hard to put on, they are not. I take the covers off every time I go to charge my pods (just in case you don't know from other reviews, you cannot charge them with the covers on) and have to put them back on multiple times a day. I was worried this would get annoying, but it really isn't. They slip on super easily and are simple to adjust, but they don't move around and obstruct the speakers in your ear. There was one review I read where they said they broke them trying to put them on and either that person was the freaking Hulk and could not control themselves or they got a really a set from a bad batch or something. I mess with these a bunch, almost like fidgets, when they are not on my pods and they have not even come close to tearing. One more plus, they come with a small carrying case and 2 sets, so I always leave one set on my desk at work and have the carrying case attached to the AirPod case I have just in case I want to use them at home or out walking somewhere. You could easily attach it on to your key ring or a lanyard if need be as well.

Makes AirPods what they should be!
I have the original earhooks from EarBuddyz for my series 1 AirPods and they solved the issue of keeping the AirPods in my ears during workouts and such. These covers however are a total game changer as far as sound quality is concerned. I have been involved in multiple recording/performance projects and have used studio-quality monitor headphones for both the recording booth as well as on-stage feedback. While these covers don't magically change the AirPods into studio-quality headphones, they do successfully enable the full spectrum audio that was only ever present if I held the AirPods in my ears firmly with my hands. The canal bud portion of these covers seats nicely in my ears and provides the solid bass response that I was looking for. They are not going to magically cancel out all sound around you, but they will do a much better job than the AirPods by themselves. That said, if there were a large version available instead of just medium/small, I think that would suit my needs even better. I was skeptical that the covers could transmit the low-end frequencies successfully, but they really do a great job of allowing the AirPods to provide a great listening experience. I should also note that I've tried the other "hacks" to try and get a snug fit from the AirPods (eg. the medical tape + hole punch), and I found nothing else has really worked for me. I didn't want to give up on the devices because they were purchased as a gift for me and I really liked the idea of being able to use them more often. These covers allow me to be able to use them in many more situations that I couldn't previously (ie. working in my office, at the gym, etc.). I would previously have to revert to circum-aural headphones in order to get enough sound quality/noise blocking to justify having headphones on. Now, I can have something much more lightweight to use in my AirPods vs my bulky headphones. Installing them is pretty easy but you do need to take care to position them properly on the AirPods if you want to take advantage of the proximity sensor layout. This is also something that really allows me to enjoy these covers much more than previous iterations --they actually pause playback/turn the headphones off when you remove them from your ears. I'm very happy with these covers and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to first and foremost improve the sound quality they are getting out of their AirPods. To be clear, the AirPods already produce a great sound, but that quality is lost because of poor fit for many people. These covers simply allow that quality to be directed properly into the ear canal. If you are primarily looking for something as a noise cancelling solution, I think you may find yourself disappointed and I would suggest going for a true canal bud style headphone instead of trying to get better noise cancelling from the AirPods.

Decent but stretches out over time
Regular AirPods hurt my ears and won’t stay in. These did the trick, and the case that comes with it conveniently attaches to my airpod case. But as expected, they have begun to stretch and lose shape, even sliding off and becoming hard to situate in my ear. I’ve barely had them more than a few months. Due to the looseness, they now buzz in my ears and create a less than bearable sensation to the point that I can’t wear them when they’re doing it. I loved them at first, but now I only use them when absolutely necessary, which, in turn, means I’m not using my AirPods hardly at all. They’re a decent product if you’re up for replacing them every few months. They do what they claim to do, they just don’t last very long.

Awesome AirPod 1 or 2 upgrade
I always hated any type of apple air pods. They would fall out with the slightest movement or god forbid a bump. I guess I have strange ears. Then the heavens opened up and dropped these ad on earbuddzy ear hooks in my Amazon cart. They take about 10 seconds to install on the airpods and are extremely comfortable. The tip fits in your ear canel and the hook gently holds the airpod in place by applying slight pressure on your ear lobe. EXTREMELY SECURE. Excellent ambient noise reduction, improved sound transfers. So far I used them on a plane trip and a 26 mile bicycle ride. Bumps, tussles, jarring movements and the stayed in place. FREAKING AWESOME! Extremely Comfortable. Cool little carrier and three different sizes of adapters come in the package. I am know a fan of apple air pods, ease of use and sound quality is great. The only draw back is the adapters have to be removed to charge the pods in their case. But they are super easy to put back on. If your pods don’t stay in your ears. Buy these.

Mostly great. Super secure. A bit too much bass.
I have alway had a problem getting ear buds to stay in. When my kids got me Air Pods for Father’s Day, I was concerned they would have limited use for fear of them falling out. Then I found EarBuddys. In terms of comfort and security, they are awesome. Other than going into the ocean, I now feel safe wearing my air pods anywhere. The medium size are a great fit for me. The also add a noise canceling quality that allows me to hear music when mowing the lawn. The reason I only gave 4 stars is that I find that the design make the sound extra boomy. The low end bass sound exaggerated. Adjusting the equalizer had no impact. Ended up buying the regular ones without the part that goes into the ear canal. Almost a secure, you lose some of the noise canceling but I though music sounded a bit better. Will still use these for some applications and they are definitely with the price
