Just as beautiful as the rest of the collection.
I bought this for my mom to let her know she was about to be a grandma of two. Everyone makes her cry every time. I’m sure it’s supposed to be for mom but it works for grandma too.

A lovely piece
I was really touched by this piece by Susan Lordi because my daughter has a young son and a infant. It made me think of her, when she's holding her beautiful little baby girl, as she coos, and her toddler son is enthusiastically telling her all about his day. She calmly and lovingly listens to both of them, all the while thinking she needs to get dinner ready. She is an amazing person and I thought this piece captured the patience and love all young working mothers show their children when they come home at the end of a busy work day. I saw it and had to buy it. She doesn't like "knick knacks" but she has the Willow Tree Nativity scene so I knew she liked their work. I decided I'd take a chance and give her this. I'm still not sure she likes it but I know, in time, when she looks back on these happy but occasionally frustrating days, she'll come around and appreciate all it conveys. It is beautifully made and detailed and other than the fact that her son couldn't understand why no one had any eyes, it's perfectly done as Willow Tree pieces always are!

Resembling my daughter’s family
My daughter is expecting her second son. I love Willow statues. Her hair is dark brown so I painted her hair to go with her family. We’ll see if the new baby is blonde.

So beautiful. There is nothing else to say. When you see a willow tree that is you, you just have to have it and it touches your heart. It's like a memory in a statue that tells a story sitting there. Will always be one of my most cherished pieces.
