I purchased these as a set when I started having to work on more and more VW vehicles at my shop. As it’s a tool I didn’t usually have to pull out often I didn’t see the need to get an extremely expensive Snap-On or Matco equivalent for 10x the price. Flash forward to the present day and I now work on Porsche vehicles, and this socket set has never once let me down. I’ve had no issues with them rounding out fasteners or the splines chipping off or anything like that! They work great and continue to perform on a weekly basis. They’re a great price and I couldn’t see myself needing to “upgrade” to another set. I’ve also owned the same Lexivon Hex and Torx set and can say the same for those. They work excellent and at a price you can’t beat. Just get them if you need them!

Bought them to remove caliper brackets. I failed. 1400 pound impact hammered till the bolts were just a weee bit warm. Disintegrate a universal, but the bit end of the socket looked great. Fit well in the sizes I tried.
