It’s worth the money
This is a really nice ratchet. The fit and finish is unique in that it isn’t just your basic shiny chrome. The locking swivel head is nice to use. I also like the quick release function. My suggestion for improvement would be to have the ability to “turn on or off” the locking swivel head function. If it is off, the you could freely use the swivel head function without it locking into a certain position. Turn it on and have the ability to lock the swivel head into a position.

Quality, durability
Capri tools are excellent quality and great value. I use this set to adjust square faced jam bolts used to tension motor ends. Thank you capri!!

Smaller than you would expect but it's perfect for the confined places
Perfect size for small areas at first I thought it was too small but it definitely grew on me nice quality

Favorite ratchet
I have beaten this thing relentlessly and it is just and smooth and robust as day one. I only wish I had even more of every size!

Wera Zyklop - handy and durable though maybe not revolutionary
Picked up this ratchet because I am constantly using a 6" extension to rotate nuts down long studs on my car. I usually use a junky ratchet, take off the extension and socket from the ratchet and spin the nut down until it stops and then tighten with the ratchet. With the Wera Zyklops you can avoid all of that by pressing the swivel release and positioning the ratchet head at a 0 degree angle (straight) and spin the ratchet while holding it on the free-spinning shaft. This makes it SO much nicer than basically taking my ratchet apart to spin a nut, just to put it back together. I do wish that the ratchet had more angles you could lock it at other than 90, 15, and 0 degrees. 45 degrees might be nice, or 60 deg, etc. but as it is designed is just fine. It has 72 teeth which is "fine" enough honestly. I am spoiled with some 84 tooth ratchets but the rotation required between the two is so moderate it would be hard to tell which is which without knowing. Only complaint per se is that I wish the ratchet head was not sealed. I like to lube my ratchets because 9 times out of 10 the manufacturer uses junky lubricant or it breaks down over time. It appears as though the Wera Zyklop has a sealed head which, while it makes it unlikely that lube would leak out, means you cannot lubricate the gears with your favorite lube should the ratchet get loud or gritty (which it shouldn't, but you get the idea). GREAT ratchet over all - almost feel bad using it for what it is designed for - its nice to look at!

Wera 1/2 Inch Drive Ratchet
As with the 1/4 in. drive ratchet, this is one of best ratchets I have owned so far. The multi-position head works real well in tight areas. The push button release and direction control are also easy to use. The handle fits my hand well. The only complaint I have about this tool (the reason for the 4 stars), is the handle needs to be longer. I would even buy an additional ratchet if Wera made one with the handle 3-4 in. longer. It is possible that Wera has longer ones out there, but I have not seen them yet. Wera makes great, long lasting tools, but are expensive. I have found that if you look around the web, there are some deals out there. Great tool.

It's solid
Wera is on the pricey side but they've got some nice stuff and good twists one a few classics, and the Zyklops is one of them. With a couple of extension pieces you could easily have this replace most of your nut drivers as well (there's a little plastic sleeve for quick running), all if you never work with long threaded rods. Easy to swap rotation, easy and firm to disengage/hold a socket, and the rotatable head was more useful than I expected.

Head broke, locked up. Not sure what happened but the company replaced it and it’s been great since.
(Revised)I loved the ratchets, so much that I bought some as gifts. I’m not a mechanic, probably would be stretching to call myself a hobbyist. But when I find something of interest I usually dive in head first, Wera is no different. The problem is if I’m depending on this to be my tool of choice when our car breaks down, or the HVAC goes out, and it breaks I’ll be out more than the cost of the ratchet. I thought maybe it was an honest oddball, so I reached out to Wera on their website and submitted a video as they asked. With no response… Googling broken Wera definitely hasn’t made me feel better about it. Edit:I've read a lot of reviews on the company and for the most part they seem to stand behind their product, I am waiting to hear anything back from them. I called their customer service in Canada and they said give them a week, I'm not in a huge hurry. (Update) Wera are my favorite ratchets, they stand behind their product and they sent me a new replacement and told me to keep the broken one. Excellent tools with great customer service.

La uso para hacerle los mantenimientos a mi coche, sobre todo quitar tornillos del Carter y trasmisión, cumple perfectamente su función, no es otra que calidad wera y se nota cuando la tienes en la mano y trabajas con ella.

I bought this months ago, so I've had the chance to use it a lot. It's not a cheap ratchet, but a really good one. Most tools in your box, you don't need fancy. But a good Philips head screwdriver, and a good ratchet, are worth the coin. Very smooth to use, fine tooth gearing, solid socket holder, and the very useful handle angle choice. Flipping from right angle (break the torque) to straight (spin out the bolt) is seamless, and the main reason to get this. Quality costs, and this is worth it. I have the big name stuff, this is better.
