I bought these because I am an artist and when I was in school and had to mat my artwork, I used a single edge blade to cut the window in the mat board. I find the single edge blade gives greater control than a mat knife, and remains sharp longer. Buying 100 is relatively cheap. I have a number of pieces of my artwork that I need to mat and then frame, so I will be using these blades to to cut the windows and also the backing board. Nothing is worse than having a mat knife wrinkle the mat or backing board if it loses its' edge! A blade can also be used in the tool to scrape old inspection and registration stickers from the windshield.

I looked around for the best bargain, and most of all, the best quality of blades I could find. I searched all over the net comparing prices and trying to find a good solid sharp blade and one that was sturdy. I recently had bought some at Walmart and they were so thin that when I tried to cut something in half, the cheap blade would start to bend. It's hard to find such a good blade by only reading the descriptions online but I gave this brand a chance. They worked out great! They seem to be nice and thick with no bending like the cheap China made blades. These were made in the USA, so definitely liked that. The price was about the same with what else I was looking at with shipping, so not a bad price. It's a big pack, so it should last me a very long time. I would recommend this very much so coming from a person who has used many kinds of this single edge blade at home and at work. One of the best I have ever used.

Great box of blades didn't need the thin ones or the heavy duty ones I spent an hour researching all the different types of blades they make and reading reviews I selected this brand and specific model as the best value. I was tempted to get the sharper blue ones they make but the reviews didn't convince me that it would have been worth it, I use them around the house cutting boxes and other items they have done okay on burnt in foods, clearing ICE off windshields and other tasks. If you require blades for specific tasks like window tint removal you may need the thinner or sharper blades to get the curves better, but I don't know which works better the thick heavy duty ones or the thinner pliable ones. These are great general purpose blades and the average consumer won't buy anymore blades for a lifetime.

I use these all the time for cutting cloth, cardboard, shaving corners on wood, removing glue, removing paint, sharpening pencils. It is amazing how many uses these have. I couldn't function without a box of these especially as an artist.

These are holding up very well. I purchased some cheaper ones and they would break very easily. I’m a diesel mechanic and use these in my scrapers. I will purchase this brand again.

Standard blades are .0095, these are .0125 so they are heavier and have a nicer edge and last longer. I purchased them from Ginn-Wilson because of their rating and they combine shipping and have outstanding service to go along with this product of outstanding quality. Over the years I have used a lot of razor blades from the time I worked in a grocery store with my box cutter I prefer a blade that can be changed out when dull. Some blades dull easily, this one lasts nicely.
