Extreme Dot to Dot: Pets

Bought this as a birthday gift for our nine year old granddaughter. I think this will keep her busy for a long time. There are definitely enough numbers in each picture to help with her focusing and concentration skills. After connecting all the dots on the page she has a second project, coloring the picture.

Love, love, love! A wonderful dot to dot book filled with pets. Kids absolutely love these detailed dot to dot books, and even more so when animals are involved. MindWare is a great company that makes amazing dot to dot books. Ranging from detailed to very intricate, there is a good balance of easier through challenging. Age range states ages 8 and up, but many kids younger than that may be able to accomplish these dot to dots. Much better than electronics! Well worth the investment so that kids get a break from using electronics in order to do something "old-fashioned" that helps increase focus, hand-eye coordination, and developing the mind. We have purchased so many different MindWare dot to dot books and we normally need to buy two of each theme so that the kids each have their own to avoid fights.

The puzzles are very difficult. I bought this for my teenage son with severe autism because he loves connect the dots. He needs something more challenging than little kid dot to dots, but this one is far too challenging for him to enjoy. The book is nice, just not a good fit for what I needed.

Fun to do, but make sure you are able to read very small print numbers.

I really enjoy the challenges... So much so, I have given them as gifts. They have been a hit! It is something different... something that you use an old fashion pencil and your brain to do. They are good for the old and the young. The number size is good. You can whip through them or take your time and make a nice line from number to number... it is up to you. Get you a book, and you will find that you will purchase another. You will enjoy it and you too will find the books will be a perfect gift that will be appreciated and enjoyed.

Easy to see numbers. Great pictures. Good to keep kids busy! :)

Arrived on time. Big difficult puzzles for my newphew to keep him challenged.

My son was so disappointed. He loved his other dot to dot books, and when this one came it had multiple pages of the same picture and was missing other pictures that it showed was in it on the back. It had the page numbers all out of order too. It didn’t even have the dog on the front in it :(

Generally we love Extreme Dot to Dot but the one we received had a major misprint with missing pages and then repeated pages. Unfortunately we didn’t notice this until our road trip so we’re unable to return it. It seems like quality control is an issue…
