I bought this as it was cheaper than just a battery. I love the craftsman v60 line, it’s a shame toro didn’t keep it alive. This cuts thru limbs and vines w ease.

I've used this trimmer on Yellow Bell bushes that my wife planted years ago. Some of the branches that I had to trim had gotten quite thick. This trimmer went through them without issue! Battery life is phenomenal with the battery still showing a full charge even after using the trimmer for a couple of hours on some very heavy branches.The only caveat I see is that the saw tip doesn't cut very well. However, given how well the trimmer performs that small issue is of no real importance.I highly recommend this product. I will likely be purchasing the Craftsman v60 weedwhacker as well!

Here’s a non free product honest review since 15 out of the 16 are all vine free product reviews. Disclaimer I’ve used those once in my Large yard. Battery life good I was able to do ten+ bushes before it died. Maneuverability it feels well balanced and just heavy enough so you don’t hurt yourself cuz it’s too light ‘z cutting capability is where the issue is. It cuts through smaller twigs like hot cakes but anything larger than your thumb it hangs up. These reviews saying it cuts trees must have gotten a better one than I did. All in all it’s a good buy for hedge trimming but expect it to hang up if you bog it down trying to take off too much at once and forget cutting anything bigger than thumb size. For my uses I’m happy and I’ll update the review if I have other issues.

For the strength that this hedge trimmer has I can understand it being heavy as it is. But I have a craftsman 16 inch electric chainsaw that is the third of the weight but unfortunately I can’t use it on hedges lol. Very powerful but because of the way not easy to use and when you are stooped over cutting on a hedge he can get to your lower back fairly quick. Other than that, a strong powerful and capable tool.

This trimmer is heavy duty with plenty of power. It is well made with quality parts. Battery life is great. At 24 inches it is a little heavy.

Great tool - this is a replacement for a set I had that lasted 18 months- my original ones were under warranty but craftsman would not replace in kind- after I provided a receipt they sent me a check for the amount I paid for my original set. I was very disappointed in the manner they handled the warranty. My entire life I purchased craftsman tools based on the premise they would replace defective tools if under warranty. Certainly not the case. Needless to say a great product or I would not have purchased another set
