Ativa AT-P6000 Desktop Printing Calculator

I have been looking for a calculator to replace my old one with a triple "000" key for months. I have ordered many and returned them as they were not as advertised. I was ecstatic to get this one with the "000" key and I plan on ordering another one soon to have one at home and one at the office. Update: This calculator broke after a few months, which was very disappointing. The other one that I ordered for my office was just unboxed this week, and the + key fell off. ( It was easy to fix) I am going to order another one (if I can find it) and give them one last shot...have to take a star away, but will revise again if needed.

I do not understand why manufacturers think it's a good idea to fool around with key placement on a 10 key. I've been a bookkeeper for almost 40 years. I know where they keys should be..........except they're not there.Having a .000 key is confusing and totally unnecessary. I've removed the key top for that key. At least the TOTAL key is in the correct place. There should be one, STANDARD layout for calculators. This is the third calculator I've bought. They key layout on this one is, by far, the closest to what a desk calculator should be.

Best calculator ever. Everyone in our office prefers this Ativa with all it's functions and capabilities. It's just right to use on our desks.
