I liked the low price and that it plays region 2 DVDs. Unfortunately, our player skips all the time, the remote doesn't work well and you can't operate the DVD player without the remote.

Don't waste your money on this
Don't waste your money on this. It played poorly at first and then wouldn't play most DVDs at all. The ones it does play, the picture tears at the bottom and then goes out for long periods of time and then comes back but even worse quality. The speed is really erratic. It will bebfine for a while ad then speed up and everyone will be racing around the screen. The kids love that but I hate it.

When we ordered this the picture shown on Amazon of the item was quite different. However, this is a simple DVD player that meets our needs so I didn't go to the hassle of returning it. Price was okay but I probably could have found a better deal at Walmart.

Most important to know is that it plays PAL format movies.
This product I am using for movies purchased online that are in PAL format only and I didn't have one that plays that format. Now I do :)
