Dark Souls Trilogy (Xbox One)

I bought it to play the entire saga and get all the achievements. The physical presentation is exactly what I expected, a solid 10 out of 10. Dark Souls 3 comes inside the same case in a paper sleeve, while Dark Souls 1 and 2 share the main disc tray. When you open it, you only see the DS1 disc at first, which can be confusing, but DS2 is right underneath. On the Xbox Series X it works perfectly. You insert each disc to install the game and must keep the disc inside to play. The included content is appropriate, and everything runs smoothly. Nothing to complain about

First of all, this is the best deal by far for all three of these games. I got mine when the price was like $22. Way cheaper than any SINGLE ONE of these games elsewhere. Xbox marketplace sells these for a combined amount of $140! Insanity. Not to say these games still aren’t worth the full price for what you get out of them. Anyway, my first Fromsoft game I really played, was Elden Ring, which gave me an all new appreciation for these games. It peaked my interest enough to finally decide to be patient and “get gud”…to a degree. Playing DS1 now, and despite having beaten Elden Ring 3 times with 3 different characters, is still quite the challenge. Though I now finally have the patience for these games. Looking forward to enjoying these for the next couple of years at least.

This product contains a collection of fine games with their dlcs. It contains Dark Souls Remastered (it has all the dlcs), Dark Souls 2 with it’s dlcs, and Dark Souls 3 with all the dlcs.

Greatest game trilogy of all time

De las mejores trilogias de videojuegos que hayan existido. Llegan puntos en los que puede see frustrante pero sinceramente vale la pena pasarselos todos los juegos, de ves en cuando recomiendo tomarse un respiro y continuar despues pero la historia en conjunto de toda esta trilogia esta muy buena.

Depression and anxiety? Not anymore... Not saying it's a cure for it but I'm just a telling you straight up. I battled crippling anxiety and depression for many many years. These games have helped me in so many ways. Dying over and over and over losing your progress and all that jazz just makes you have to deal with failure and learn from the mistakes. The lessons I've learned from these games have carried over into my real life. Strengthening my bond with everyone around me and effectively bringing me out of my uncomfort-zone. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY KING MIYAZAKI!!!

Great game, though these games are not for the fainthearted. This collection contains 3 dark souls games with all DLC. The Dark Souls trilogy are dark/undead themed combat games where you generally use swords/shields/bows/magic to defeat enemies. The combat system is paced very interestingly, and has a stamina system where each strike you perform and each attack you block consumes stamina, so you have to be conservative with gameplay and temporarily withdraw from combat until it recharges, because if you are out of stamina and get struck the enemies will completely destroy you. These games are all about bosses, you have to grind out an area and only can advance in the game once you kill a boss. The bosses are very varied, some are extremely fast with lower damage strikes, other bosses are actually 2 bosses at the same time you have to manage, while some others attack slowly but are gigantic and do very heavy damage. You have to be incredibly patient with these games, I know gamers nowadays are all about fast gameplay like call of duty, all of those games where you just run in shoot and die, but you have to be very patient and slow especially as a new player. You have to study each enemy and determine how they can be defeated, if you rush in there swinging a 2h sword without being high leveled you can do a ton of damage if you can strike regular mobs, but will deplete all of your stamina and get speared or sliced up by another enemy because you wasted all of your energy attacking and now don't have any left to run, block, or roll away. This is why these games are considered "frustrating". However, the games are very fair and forgiving, if you keep getting completely destroyed in an area you can spend a lot of time grinding on regular enemies to level up/upgrade your gear, so you'll be more competitive against a boss that destroyed you previously.

Every thing was cool except the case was broken at the top, no scratches on disc.
