I’ve been a loyal customer of Sugar Bear sleep gummies for four years and have come to rely on them for my sleep routine. Therefore, it was a major disappointment when I received my latest AutoShip order to find that the bottle was smaller, containing only half the number of gummies I was accustomed to. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the serving size had been reduced from two gummies to one, but the change didn’t stop there. The single gummy now contains less melatonin and a reduced quantity of their proprietary blend compared to the previous two-gummy serving. It’s clear that this is not merely a reduction in quantity but also a dilution of the product’s potency. Previously, a bottle would contain 60 gummies, providing a full month’s supply if two were taken nightly. Now, the bottle includes merely 32 gummies, and even if one adheres to the new serving size, the reduced potency necessitates questioning the product’s effectiveness. This practice of shrinkflation—reducing the product size and quality while maintaining or increasing the price—is a deceptive and unfair tactic to consumers who have come to trust the Sugar Bear brand. My disappointment extends beyond just the numbers. It’s about the erosion of trust and the diminishing value offered to loyal customers. This change not only impacts the quantity and quality of the product but also undermines the brand’s integrity. As a consumer, I feel let down by a company I had trusted for consistent quality and value. It’s disheartening to witness such a stark example of a company prioritizing profits over the well-being and satisfaction of its customers. Update: once again the formulation has changed, this new batch is a dark purple, and has a different smell. Still a 32/package verses the old 60 count. I do appreciate the less sodium. I’ll be Interested in trying the new, new version and compare. I just wish the manufacturer would be more open with their customers, especially those on auto subscriptions. Next update: After trying to new formulation (the dark purple version) I can say that they do not work as well as the previous formulation. Also as others have mentioned, the taste has changed, they have a really nasty aftertaste that the previous formulation did not have. I’m really sad, I LOVED the original version, it worked so well. It’s a real shame SugarBear changed, they had a really great product, now they don’t.

While I was hopeful that this product would help me finally get some much needed sleep, not only did I only get four hours of fitful sleep, but I awoke in a panic after the worst nightmare I’ve ever had. I’ll spare the details, but two days later the sensation of fighting for my life (in the nightmare) still haunted me. I’m truly glad it works for so many people, which is why I chose to try these gummies. Based on so many positive reviews, I was excited to try them. They tasted good, so I was hopeful that I was off to a good start. For those of you who benefit from them, I’m happy for you. But given my experience, I’d rather get by on little sleep than experience anything again like what I did that terrifying night. Wishing everyone peaceful sleep and good dreams. UPDATE: After five months, I decided to give these another try-with just half a gummy to start. (I had not tossed them out as planned.) No nightmares. Worked up to 1, then 1.5 over a couple of months. I can now take 1-2 with no adverse side effects. They do help me fall asleep and stay asleep for a few hours, but I still rarely get more than 4-6 hours of sleep. Still, I felt the need to update and amend my initial review. I feel this product is worth a try.

I love these gummies! I have been prescribed so many sleeping pills(trazadone, Xanax, hydroxyzine) and none of them have worked. I have also taken just melatonin, also doesn’t work. This blend has exceeded my expectations. I actually fall asleep within about 30-40 minutes of taking it. I stay asleep as well. I wake up feeling good and not groggy. They also taste great and have good consistency. They are a little on the expensive side but worth it if you are a non sleeper. I also have really vivid nightmares and I’ve noticed my dreams have improved as well. Must buy if you need some sleep

The old formula of these definitely works better. It taste like the old scooby doo fruit snacks from the 2000’s so the taste is fine. They have no smell. Im unsure if they still have the same ingredients as their old version. But they seem to work sometimes and other times not so much. If they by chance do work sleep is pretty good but I get weird dreams.

I've been a terrible sleeper almost all my adult life, so I've been on Ambien for about the last decade. While I've been lucky in that I haven't had the kinds of bad experiences with Ambien that some people have, I've always worried about the longterm effects of taking such a strong drug every night. But no natural sleep supplement has ever been effective enough or strong enough to help keep me asleep and not leave me feeling like a zombie the next day. Until these. They don't knock me out quite like Ambien does, but they help me feel peaceful enough to sleep and keep sleeping as long as I choose. I can wake up early like I like to and feel rested and energized. Melatonin or valerian alone have never been able to do that for me. What's more, my husband has started taking them, too. I take the two bear dosage recommended on the label since I'm replacing a full-strength pharmaceutical sleep aid; he's been taking one since he usually sleeps without an aid, and he says he's getting better sleep with just the one. They work well enough to have convinced me to try the multi-vitamins, too. AND they taste good. And it's fun to ask each other if we took our bears. :)
