Bottle is made of steel but I don’t think cap is of steel feel like a plastic which is weakest point of product .Bottle is leakproof and not heavy to carry and of decent size over all value for money

this is probably the worst bottle I have purchased ever . it not even food grade steel it so flexible like some sheet metal .. it so tall that it won't fit in the fridge or gym bag . but the bigger issue is that it seems this steel doesnt look like it safe to store food . its not 304,316 steel is much much lower quality of steel 200 series which is not approved for storing food worldwide. one more review mentioned the same thing but I ignored . common sense is that a good steel bottle cannot be so cheap it has to be be close to 1000 rupees. if the selling price is just 272 INR then bottle must be like 50 bucks for the manufacturer so you can tell its rubbish quality steel just by that.

First of all, for the reviewers complaining about magnets sticking to the bottle, it is simply not true that magnet will not stick on stainless steel. First of all there are magnetic stainless steel variants - for example type 430. Besides, non-magnetic steel can develop magnetism when it is cold worked, it is a well known fact. Technically, the structure partially changes from austenitic to martensitic when the steel is deformed. But the chemical composition remains the same and it is still the same steel! This can be avoided by hot working or heating the steel to release the stresses, but since the partial magnetism does not pose a problem there is no real need to remove it. I have steel bottles from Klean Kanteen which is a very well known brand in the US, and magnets stick to their bodies as well. Doesn't mean that they are not stainless steel. More importantly, the manufacturer of this bottle does not mention the stainless steel variant being used - so are they using grade 304 stainless steel (which they should be using), or are they using the much cheaper and inferior grade 200 stainless steel? Both are non-magnetic in nature but can become magnetic upon cold work. This is the only bottle which I could find here that has a steel body AND a steel lid. Most steel bottles have a steel body but a plastic lid, or a steel lid with plastic inside. From that perspective it is great - your water won't touch any plastic at all, and no chance of invisible plastic "dust" falling into the water when opening and closing the lid from the threading action. It is also leakproof and seems durable. It is a bit tall and fits in the refrigerator bottle compartment with a bit of difficulty. One con is that I found that the taste of water inside the bottle changed subtly on initial uses. It went away after that. It was very subtle, but it clearly was there. However it did go away. I have not noticed any rust in the year or so I have owned this bottle, however a lot of reviewers are complaining about that - maybe they have quality issues, or the quality has deteriorated with time. I would have given 4 stars based on my mostly positive experience with this bottle, but would hesitate a bit on actually recommending this because of the above cons and hence gave it 3 stars, also considering that they do not mention the grade of steel being used.

Bottle is longer due to narrow bottom. Height to weight ratio is not very good. price is justified but material needs to be more sturdy due to make appropriate wt to height ratio.
