Switched from Prince of Peace brand, no regrets.
Cute box, good tea. Color is really pale, but flavor is really good. I ordered it for something to keep in the desk at work that I could stir up really quickly. I've learned that I actually like this better cold than hot. It takes a couple of minutes for the water to penetrate the granules enough to completely dissolve, but it's a really mild, pleasant flavor - less earthy than prince-of-peace brand, and I can't wait to empty the wooden box so I can make a desk organizer out of it!

Easiest Way to Enjoy Ginseng with a Morning Cuppa....
I love this stuff! If you enjoy ginseng - for any reason, taste or health benefits - this is the perfect method for tea drinkers. I pour a packet into my tea mug in the morning and it instantly dissolves when I pour in the first cuppa of the day. I love it with strong black tea (my two favorites are China Breakfast and Ancient Golden Assam from Rishi, BTW) and the subtle ginseng flavor tastes like the best extract, without the mess and vagaries of measuring out portions. Excellent product, as near as I can tell.

Really Good Tea
This is really good tea. Put it in your coffee or tea or just hot water. It will give you a boost (I use 2 packs at a time), and it is good. Might not be for everyone....has an earthy kind of tone or flavor, but in a good way! Yummy!

Better than Prince of Peace
I've been getting the Prince of Peace variety for awhile now but thought I'd give this a go and I am really glad I did -- I will be sticking with it going forward. I usually like to add this to my green/white tea as a subtle sweetener + mental boost. I feel like it's a better product, with slightly more to each packet, and a cool wooden box. Seems like a better quality product at a very reasonable price.

This tea causing gastrointestinal issues for you? It's probably NOT the ginseng.
This is mostly sugar and for many people (including me) a huge dump of this specific sugar will induce diarrhea. So... not a great experience and not much ginseng. However, there is so little ginseng in here that if your body IS able to process this type of sugar - then the energy you're getting is from the sugar not the ginseng. The Cause (Dextrose): Pure ginseng is extremely bitter. Manufacturers add a large amount of dextrose as a sweetener to make it palatable and as a bulking agent to turn the small amount of extract into an "instant" powder. The Effect (Osmotic Diarrhea): That rush of dextrose (glucose) hits your system all at once. If your body doesn't absorb it all immediately, it draws water into your intestines, causing the loose stool (osmotic diarrhea). I'm writing this review specifically because after trying this tea, I thought for a long time that ginseng wasn't for me - until I tried the NutraTea brand of ginseng that doesn't have additives and I really enjoyed it.

Acceptable for the price
I read the reviews before I made the purchase so I knew not to expect much. The wooden box is cute, yes there are 100 packages of tea. Is it ginseng? I don't know, it's a bunch of little pellets. Definitely not a diet aid, I haven't lost a single pound. But it was a great price, and I enjoy a hot cup of tea, add a little honey produced locally to build up immune system. Flavor is fine, not bitter.
