New favorite Matcha!!
Iโve tried over 20 different Matcha powders and this is truly the best quality and smooth tasting matcha Iโve had. It doesnโt make me feel shakey or have a crash affect and isnโt filled with sugar like other brand. Love and will be a part of my morning routine moving forward.

Ad Says A Serving Contains 180 mg of EGCG, But Package Says Only 123 mg
I purchased for $41.00 on Amazon a slim 45 grams/1.59 oz packet of Dr. SG's "Ceremonial Grade Organic Matcha", which I have not yet opened. What I did notice though was that in Dr. SG's Amazon ad he states that each serving contains 180 mg of EGCG, which Dr. SG states is the highest amount available of this important nutrient and why I purchased this product. Upon receipt, however, the packet indicates that each serving only contains 123 mg. When I submitted my question on this to the AI answer box, I received the following response: Question: Why do the online product details for the Ceremonial Grade Organic Matcha say that the ECGC nutrient is 180 mg while the back of the package says there are only 123 mg per serving? Answer: The product information on Amazon states that each batch of this matcha is lab tested to contain 180mg of EGCG per 2g serving. However, the back of the package indicates that there are 123mg of EGCG per serving. There isn't additional information available to explain the discrepancy between these two values. I was unable to contact Dr.Sg and hope that he will provide a response to this question.

Absolutely Love this Grade of Green Tea
Absolutely love this gradw of Green Tea. You can literally feel the difference. Personally, my energy boosts and become quite talkative and funny. The product is powerful. Hefty price though. Will have to wait until I can afford it again.

Decent organic Matcha
This is a good grade matcha tea...particularly useful for lattes. I purchased it during Prime Day. I still prefer the Encha Matcha as it is less bitter, but this is a decent substitute.

Great quality
I'm not a matcha connoisseur, but I have tried several off-the-shelf matcha varieties, including ones that claim to be ceremonial grade. With this matcha, I could taste a difference immediately. Whereas the others seemed mostly flat and bland, this one actually has a flavor profile, with earthy, sweet, grassy notes. As another reviewer mentioned, it has a richer, deeper flavor and is not very acidic or astringent.

Bitter brain buzz
I put two teaspoons of this matcha in a pint mason jar, add cool filtered water to create a slurry (mixed with a chopstick, for authenticity), and then top off with water at about 165 degrees, cover and shake. Hillbilly tea ceremony! This produces a beautiful jade-colored infusion, with a *very* slow precipitation. The taste is notably bitter, despite claims, with moderate umami, and no grassy or vegetal notes. EGCG is bitter, so ok. I definitely get a brain buzz from this. Possibly the theanine, possibly it has more caffeine than typical.

No Bitterness.
I'm new to matcha so I've ben trying various ceremonial grades. So far, this is the smoothest with no taste of bitterness. I even doubled the amount in my bowl and still very smooth and non bitter. I'm still looking at other brands but so far, this is the best I've had so far.
