Spaceship Rocket Set - 5 Piece Space Program NASA Collector's Set - Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Saturn Rockets And Space Shuttles

I just recently took my son 7 yr old to the Kennedy Space Center and was looking for something small that he could play with to continue his interest in space science. This set was a perfect collection of the main rockets we saw in the rocket garden along with the space shuttle. He got lots of other cool, expensive toys for Christmas but this was the one he ended up liking the most and playing with. The rockets are small and the pointy bits are made with a rubbery plastic so they are not as dangerous or fragile as they might look. Pretty good recreation of the rockets too. This is a hands-on toy that a kid can play with and not worry about breaking. Perfect for their pretend space travels. If you are looking for something more grow-up or larger or for display, maybe this isn't for you. but if you want a kid's toy to play with, my son loved it.

Pretty good models for the price. A little disappointed in the molding quality; two of the rockets were not quite straight, but they still stand up on a desk.

These are cheaply made and are not good quality for the price. These should be about $5.00 and no more than that. Every piece of the space shuttle has come apart and I've had to glue it back together. Some pieces on the space shuttle that are suppose to be removable, don't stay on. The other rockets are badly painted pieces of rubber-like substance. Of course my grandson liked them, he's four and does not know the value of quality, and had he not got attached to them, I would have returned them. Don't be fooled by the pictures, you will be disappointed.

The rockets are much smaller than expected, around 2 inches in length. All parts are plastic and I would definitely say 6+ is the right age range, as the toys are more fragile than I hoped. This was a disappointment because my son was so excited when he saw the toys, but less than a week later. all the pieces are sitting scattered around the house and have been untouched since.
