Awesome product for sure. I needed to fix a power seat that stopped moving for some time in my car. Before spending money to replace parts of the seat, I bought Deoxit and followed the instructions to properly clean the switch connectors and contacts. I reinstalled the switch and the seat operates like new. This product is worth every penny to avoid expensive replacement parts for electronic equipment.

It saved my Olympus LS-10 audio recorder! One of the channels was funky. ChatGPT recommended coating it lightly on a 3.5mm plug and then inserting it 20 or 30 times into the mic and line inputs. I tried it. After the first time, all it did was kill the funky channel entirely. With nothing to lose, I tried it again and...Voila! Both channels sounding good! I'm glad I got this size. It's next to nothing, but it was all I neded. The cap has a teeny brush, ideal for coating the plug. A large spray can would have made a mess.

DeoxIT is a well known product and probably the "Gold Standard" for cleaning and treating electronic connections. Everybody swears by the product. It's so embedded in the electronic repair space that it's become a verb. It's not uncommon to hear someone say, "I DeoxITed all the connections and now it works as it should." Despite high praise for the product, this package is a real pain to use. I should have thought ahead so I take the blame. The tiny brush is so short that unless the connection you want to clean is right on top, you have to find something longer to use...like a Q-tip. There's a tiny amount of DeoxIT in this little bottle, by the time you dip in a Q-tip a few times, the bottle is empty. BUY A BIGGER SIZE, IT'LL BE MORE ECONOMICAL IN THE END because you won't waste as much.

This is by far the best contact cleaning solution around. I do FOH audio mixing and deal with high end audio gear and this has saved shows. I highly recommend this product as an audio engineers bag of tricks need tool! As much as a cable tester is a necessity so is this contact cleaner. The whole line of fader lubricant and cleaners, they are a must have and safe to use.

チャタリングが発生した愛用の廃版マウスのマイクロスイッチ交換が面倒だったのでダメもとでこの接点復活材を試してみました。 マウスを分界してOMRON製マイクロスイッチのボタン部分のスキマに極小量垂らしたうえでエアダスターのノズルを押し付けてマイクロスイッチの内部に吹き込んだところあっさり治りました。 修理後一年経過していますが、いまのところ再発する気配は無く経過は良好です。 極小の瓶の割に高価ですがそんなに大量に使用するものでもないので、家中の電極に塗布しても数年はもつくらいの内容量は有りそうです。
